3 Derricks CANRIG has a standard range of designs for static and dynamic applications. CANRIG has provided designs in metric, imperial and chinese sections. 5 CANRIG can supply simple mechanised systems or fully automated and hands-free systems. 6 DFMA DrillFloor Manipulator Arm CANRIG s DFMA is used for a variety of drillfloor duties ranging from racking of tubular to tailing of casing and risers CANRIG s DFMA can be floor mounted as above or underslung mounted beneath the guiderail bracing. DFMA comes with a range of heads for handling collars or risers with buoyancy modules. CSB Telescopic Casing Stabbing Basket Heavy duty CSB (semisubmersibles) Light duty CSB (Jack-ups). Tailing Arms and Stabilising Arm CANRIG has a range of tailing arms for mounting in the derrick which are used to tail the riser (see photo right) or stabilising tubulars at the well centre (image left). 6

7 CTU Conductor Tensioning Unit CANRIG s Conductor Tensioning Units are built to suit precise requirements of the Jack-up. Bulkhead Guidance System Bulkhead guidance systems are used to restrain the BOP and trees during transportation from centre of rig to storage position Hydraulic Power Units CANRIG provide a range of power units from dedicate units (dedicated to a particular piece of equipment) to centralised power units (4 x 200HP) Power Units can include acoustic enclosure and air cooling systems. 7

8 Subsea Handling Systems (BOP, Xmas trees) Subsea Handling equipment needs to be simple, robust and reliable. CANRIG have a range of equipment which are grouped together to provide the best systems. The products include:- BOP transporter BOP cart BOP service crane Baseplate trolley Tree trolley Skidding systems BOP chain hoists Bulkhead guidance frames Retractable test stumps Dedicated power unit CANRIG offer a consultancy service whereby we specify the most cost effective system within the physical constraints of the rig and the clients budget. The most common handling system on a semisubmersible is the BOP transporter, with sideways skidding and baseplate/tree trolley. This system has the advantage of being able to test the BOP in one piece. 8

9 BOP Handling on Drillships and Semisubmersibles Another way to handle subsea equipment is by cart and overhead cranes CANRIG can supply Cart and Crane systems, which includes bulkhead guidance, integrated splashzone guidance, insert trolley for trees, auxiliary hoist on crane (for service work) and a retractable test stump frame. Splashzone guidance CANRIG provide a robust splashzone guidance unit which is mounted on the underside of the moonpool and is telescopic. This system restrains the BOP whilst in the splashzone. BOP Handling on a Jack-up or Land The BOP on a Jack-up is lighter and the handling is often simpler. CANRIG provide a range of chain hoists, elevators and transporter cranes. 9

10 Riser Management - Horizontal CANRIG provides complete Riser Management System providing the design of equipment from the storage rack to the centre well.
