2 Overview The mipro Asphalthek is a software package to support the production of asphalt from calculation of base material requirements and the generation of mixing recipes through monitoring the process control to subsequent process analysis, data archiving and representation in various reports. In this process, the mipro Asphalthek serves as a tool for the areas of plantpreserving machine technology, quality-influencing laboratory technology, administration and planning, and finally the core area: automatic production of the mixture It supports effective and professional energy management and saving of resources by displaying the individual energy costs per recipe, or automatic, smooth integration of any additions of used asphalt into the calculation of recipes. A mixing recipe with additions of 0-100% can be calculated for any basic recipe and used asphalt. And last but not least it serves as an indispensable aid for ISO certification, as a process integration module in an SAP environment and as a confidence-promoting instrument in the public relations work of a modern enterprise. Architecture and Network Via a bus system (PHOENIX Interbus-S) the control system receives signals from the plant and files them in various formats (plant logs, reports, cumulative data, quick overviews) on a file server. From there they can be processed by various Asphalthek systems within the network. The Asphalthek can make this data available to other external Asphalthek systems via remote communications. Preinterpreted protocols and daily reports (containing a considerably reduced amount of data) as well as all raw data can be requested from there, if e.g. problems or inconsistencies occur in the daily reports. 3 Program components Operation of the Asphalthek is divided in several areas: Via module buttons for the most important functions or various menu entries, keys and sliders of the individual windows. Via the menu you can also call up all functions, and in addition select the actual plant, if several plants are connected to the Asphalthek. The Entry for Level could be used to reduce the complexity of the Asphalthek to simplify the all-day routine procedures. When working with other programs on your desktop PC, you can minimize the Asphalthek to a single taskbar, which can be located anywhere on the screen and still afford all necessary functions. 4 Plants and Groups, Data communication Choose from different connected plants, create groups for comperative examinations and load daily reports, databases or even raw data via smart communication routines in few seconds directly to your PC. QuickView Via a button QuickView you will get a quick glance of the actual status of your plant. This information is compiled every minute in the MIPRO 4000i control system and can automatically be refreshed by the Asphalthek. 5 Daily reports Let the Asphalthek automaticly generate daily reports based on the most important results of all available information like Logbooks, protocols, hours of operation, messages, material consumption or energy usage. 8 Batch protocols Batch protocols can be chosen individual, combined via time periods, recipes or clients and showed or printed out in graphic screens like trends, deviation diagrams or quality examinations. Via luxurious functions to export you can transfer all examinations to external programs like Excel or similar. 10 Statistics of material-consumption, energy or production All daily values of material, production, consumption of energy or running hours will be refreshed after each batch, transferred to the Asphalthek and stored in databases. Even manual inputs for caterpillars, delivered materials etc are possible. 12 Logbooks and Energy consumption The control system writes periodically all connected I/O-Values and several calculated plant conditions in Logbooks. They are the base of various calculation of the productivity of the drying process or energy consumption even in productionfree times. 14 Messages All generated messages in the control system could be examined individual or cumulated, on a frequency scale over months or exported to external programs. Determination of material requirements Based on the recipes, all required materials of the planned production could be automatically determinded and printed out by daily reports. 15 Machine recipes Program all recipes in the laboratory and export them to the control system. Via sortable lists you always have a complete survey of all values like date, kind and status of your recipes. Via screenlines of raw material or the screening parameters of your plant, the Asphalthek could calculate dosing values out of machine recipes or proficiency schemes and vice versa. 16 Via different approximation algorithms the Asphalthek could calculate the best possible mixing or feeding recipes of a given screenline. With this calculation, the feeding process could be adjusted individual to reduce dispensable material and energy in the drying process. Via the functionality of the automated Calculation of Asphaltgranulate, it is possible via this optimization to compute to any given recipe and analyzed granulate a resulting recipe with variable addition of recycled material (0-100%). In this calculation, the Asphalthek provides defined settings of the coldfeeding, given amounts of filler- and bitumen, density of the resulting bitumen by even changing the sorts. In this way you can maximize your capacities of addition of recycled material and react within minutes of changed production conditions, like temperature or stocks. 17 Data security To protect your production data from external access, the sharing of all data is strongly limitated via user accounts. A supervisor is capable of installing or deleting all users even via remote access. You can direct different levels of access. Log-In Install new users via remote.
