10 Case Improvement across the board Starting point Customer operating in chemical industry wanted to try a better performing fluting to increase production performance and to decrease production costs. A strong semichemical fluting was needed due to the heavy duty nature of the products manufactured. Solution Stora Enso s technical expert helped the customer perform and optimise test runs with AvantFlute SC by Stora Enso. After changes done to the parameters, the running speed of the corrugator could be increased by 10 % with the new material. Results After testing with AvantFlute SC the customer noticed it was now possible to produce strong fluting with increased production speed and with less material used. Witnessing an across the board improvement in the production, the customer switched to AvantFlute SC by Stora Enso. 5 % less raw material needed 10 % faster production speed
