Helicopter MRO Trends Update

3 Digitalization

From paperwork to digital maintenance Towards a seamless customers experience: - To reduce administrative paperwork - To avoid mistakes and enhance safety - To capture data for performance improvement - Numerous and immediate benefits to our customers: increased availability, time savings, enhanced safety FleetKeeper our E-Logbook -Time savings - Increased resale value - Real time data transfer Keycopter Unique customer portal - Digital continuity - Full integrated data Turn in-service data into insights for both Customers and AH: - New product & Services concept (Design for availability, MSCG3 ) - Smart & leaner customer operations AH connected maintenance is moving operations traceability from paper to digital for higher operator s productivity, 4 enhanced safety and develop predictive algorithms to lower the maintenance burden

Our predictive maintenance offer - FlyScan - New HUMS service based on a proactive analysis conducted by AH HUMS Experts - This Service offer will maximize Customers operations, increase fleet availability & fleet safety while reducing maintenance burden. - Applicable for all A/C with HUMS, H135/H145/H155/H175 & onwards Many benefits: - Up to 7% maintenance burden reduction related on HUMS items - 1 AOG less per year and per helicopter - Better cost control thanks to reduction of technical flights. FlyScan offers customers more appropriate maintenance actions and transform unscheduled events by predicted maintenance 5

6 Enhanced operators availability

Reduced maintenance burden through a Maintenance Improvement Plan Helicopters maintenance is still heavy and complex compared to fixed wing platforms. AH is working to reduce that burden year after year H225 MMH/FH: -7% between 2012 & Following crisis impact in additional maintenance tasks, action plan to decrease MMH/FH by -25% H125/H130 10% MMH/FH decrease on H130 achieved in 2017 Vs % reduction of the number of scheduled maintenance stops (over a 6000FH operation cycle) DMC : 4,4% decrease on H125 (Fall 2016 Vs Spring 2015) Maintenance improvements will continue and will accelerate with better data collection 7

8 Our HCare Offer

Optimized in service support through integrated performance based contracts o o o A growing share of operators adopt performance based logistics contracts. Airbus offer is called HCare Smart for material support and HCare Infinite for all inclusive availability based contracts. These contracts allow: - To have a precise figure for the operation of their aircraft based entirely on the flight hours performed - To minimize their own stock of spare parts (Dispatch of replacement components from AH within 24 hours guaranteed) - To be protected from unscheduled events (Risk of failure covered by AH) - Data analytics for key improvements are packaged into the offer What is new? - Price repositioning to increase competiveness Ex: -15% on 125/13 - No buy in for light aircraft - Free of charge FleetKeeper service fir all our HCare Smart & Infinite customers for one year What makes our difference? - Large pool size to secure performances 95% performance achieved on part delivery - Preserved residual value of the aircraft with a manufacturer expertise for most up to date part evolutions Integrated contracts consistently deliver high availability and minimized burden 9

10 The future

A technological breakthrough to optimize our helicopters maintenance H160 KEY FEATURES 95% Availability objective Light twin-like maintenance Digital continuity No parts removal before 1000 FH inspection Pilot autonomy until 50FH Simplified failure management 3D Tech manuals MAINTENANCE NEEDS INTEGRATED EARLY INTO DESIGN PHASE Concurrent engineering from day 1 Full MSG3 with customer & Engine OEM Prototypes maintenance used for early maturation Operator zero tests all along final development phase Maintenance burden, cost & aircraft availability are major development targets 11
