6 Current Busing Operations We provide busing service at BISY (British International School Yangon) and TOTAL E&P Myanmar. We operate these services according to ISO and HACCP standards and procedures which are certified by UKAS & IAF. At BISY (Busing and Catering Services) Since August 2014 to present At TOTAL (Busing and Onshore/Offshore Catering Services) Since 2014 to present for Busing Services Since January 2016 to present for Onshore/Offshore Catering Services At SHELL (Transportation Services) Since February 2015 to present

9 A SMART Partnership with ISY ISY will inspect all assigned vehicles for the bus program 4 weeks in advance of the program s start date to ensure vehicles meet ISY s safety standards. The ISY school logo will be applied to all vehicles

10 Safety The following safety gear is standard in all SMART buses. Seat belts for every passenger Permanent contact phone First aid kit Fire extinguisher Safety glass windows Right-hand side exit doors Rear-view camera Walkie-talkie (internal use) Left, right, and rear view mirrors Spare wheel and tool kit Flashlight Traffic barrier/cone Spare wheel and tool kit * Monitors will also accompany students adding to the safety of travel

11 Insurance All riding passengers are covered by SMART s comprehensive automobile insurance policy

12 SMART Personnel SMART personnel are hired on the basis of their skill, experience, and professionalism. They are held to the highest professional standards and a routinely evaluated on their job performance and adherence to SMART s rigorous safety standards.

13 SMART Drivers Legally licensed to operate bussing vehicles Have 3-continuous years of driving experience Have completed Oriental Basic Training-Safety Course and SMART s Defensive Driving & Safety program Speak basic English Have undergone medical check-ups to ensure they are fit to operate a vehicle Will attend ISY s Traffic Safety workshop as well as ISY s Child Protection training Are committed to providing a safe and timely service

14 SMART Bus Monitors Speak basic English Possess good customer service skills Are reliable with their communication Will ensure that all passengers board and exit buses safely Will ensure that all passengers wear seatbelts and adhere to the passenger code of conduct to ensure a safe journey Will communicate any breach of the code of conduct to ISY s Bus Coordinator Will handover children at delivery to parents and authorized persons only Are professional and committed to providing a safe and comfortable bus journey for all Bus Monitors will also attend ISY s Traffic Safety workshop as well as ISY s Child Protection training

15 Journey Management Plan The following basic information is considered in our journey management planning. Coordination of information with ISY Route planning and scheduling (SMART) Communication of routes and schedules to ISY Community (ISY) Approximate journey time Safe driving speed Yangon average is 30 miles per hour Road conditions and quality of route Safety of route Areas of anticipated traffic congestion or construction Proximity to hospitals

16 Communication 24 hour contact person available at SMART s Yangon office (1) (Operations Manager) (2) (HSE Manager) (1) Journey Manager - Name and contact number to be announced (2) On-site Manager - Name and contact number to be announced All incidents will be promptly reported to SMART Office and ISY SMART is in 24 hour communication with a vehicle Emergency Response Team (ERT)

17 Day-To-Day Communication On-site Manager On-site manager will communicate with ISY Bus Coordinator about bus routes and transportation arrangements. On-site manager will inform drivers and bus-monitors about transport information. On-site manager will communicate with Journey Manager for vehicle substitution in the unlikely event a bus breakdowns. Drivers & Bus Monitors Drivers will communicate with Journey Manager in the event of accidents, incidents, and vehicle breakdowns. Bus monitors will communicate time changes to parents via text message Bus monitors will contact on-site manager about any delays in transport time. Bus monitors will communicate all arrival and departure times to on-site manager.

Bus monitors will contact parents about student pick-up and delivery, time changes, delays and any information related to the bus route during time of pick-up and delivery Communication will be advanced via text messaging Bus Monitor In this condition: -Status of student pick-up and delivery -Time changes/delays -Any information related to the bust route Bus monitors will communicate same information to ISY s Busing Coordinator ISY Parents Note: If your child is sick and will not be using the bus please notify ISY s Busing Coordinator as soon as possible so that service can proceed with unnecessary interruption

19 Busing Fee The fee for school bus service is as follows: Hi Ace Van (13 passengers) - $ per student / per month Minibus (20 passengers) - $ per student / per month Vehicles are selected according to condition of route No billing for summer and winter breaks. October and April breaks billed at half-day rate Payment Terms & Conditions: Payment for student busing must be submitted to the ISY Business Office at least 3 working days before commencement of the month. Failure to do so may render a student ineligible for school busing for the subsequent month. Release waivers for both SMART and ISY must be signed or agreed to before a student may participate in the school bussing program.
