Approximately 110 New Zealand, purebred and percentage does will sell in the Spotlight Auction. A semen consignment in lieu of buck consignment will be accepted. Consignments of frozen embryos and recipient does carrying embryos will be accepted in lieu of a doe consignment. Any active client of the National Kiko Registry is eligible to consign to the sale. Consignments will be accepted on a first-come basis, with the consignment period running from January 7 through January 18, CONSIGNMENTS POSTMARKED BEFORE JANUARY 7 WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. 1) This sale will be limited to 10 bucks/semen lots. NKR 2019 ELITE KIKO BUCK SALE 2) Nominations are limited to 1 buck/semen lot per farm/ranch/family. You do not have to consign does in order to consign to the Buck Sale. Bucks must be born between May 18, 2017, and December 31, 2018, to be eligible for the sale. 3) All bucks must be registered with the National Kiko Registry. All semen lots must be from an NKR-registered buck and have an NKR VGL number. 4) All bucks must be DNA parentage verified prior to the catalog cutoff date (March 22). If a buck was DNA tested through another registry you will need to retest it through the NKR so that the VGL number is available. 5) Consignors will be charged a flat rate commission of $200 per buck/semen lot. This will apply whether the buck actually arrives at the sale or not. If nominated bucks are not able to sell for any reason, substitutions will be allowed, providing the substitute meets the requirements of the sale. 6) All shipping fees for semen straws will be the responsibility of the buyer. It is the responsibility of the buyer and seller to finalize the transfer of the semen straws. 7) For each buck there will be a $10 charge for shavings and stall cleaning and there will be a $10 transfer fee to the NKR for all bucks that sell. Thus the total cost will be $220 per buck. The consignment fee of $200 will be due when you nominate your buck/semen lot. The stall and transfer fees will be deducted from the amount due the consignor after the sale. There will be no stall or transfer fees for semen straws SPOTLIGHT KIKO DOE SALE 1) Does must be born before December 31, 2018, to be eligible for the sale. Nominations are limited to 2 does per farm/ranch/family, regardless of number of prefixes registered. Kids must be sired by a buck DNA tested and registered through the National Kiko Registry. 3) All purebred and 100% New Zealand does must be DNA parentage verified prior to the catalog cutoff date (March 22). Percentage does (50%-88%) must be DNA tested (at least genotyped) and the results (genotyped, sire verified or parentage verified) indicated on the registration papers along with the VGL number. If a doe was DNA tested through another registry you will need to retest it through the NKR so that the VGL number is available. 4) Does that are sold as confirmed bred must be verified pregnant via sonogram or blood test with documentation available at check-in. The sire must be a DNA-tested, NKR-

2 registered sire. A sire service memo with VGL number must accompany documentation. 5) Recipient does carrying embryos do not have to be registered. Recipient does must be confirmed bred via sonogram or blood test with documentation available at check-in. Embryos must be the offspring of a DNA-tested, NKR-registered sire and dam. The sire and dam s NKR registration numbers and VGL numbers must be included. 6) Consignors will be charged a consignment fee of $75 for each doe/lot consigned. This will apply whether the goat actually sells or not and whether the goat actually arrives at the sale or not. If consigned goats/embryos are not able to sell for any reason, substitutions will be allowed, providing the substitute meets the requirements of the sale. In addition, a 3% commission will be charged for each lot sold. 7) For each goat there will be a $10 charge for shavings and stall cleaning and there will be a $10 transfer fee to the NKR for all does (except recips) that sell. Thus the total cost will be $95 per doe ($85 for recipient does) plus 3% commission. There will be no stall or transfer fees for frozen embryos. 8) If nursing kids have been registered before the sale, an additional $10 transfer fee will be charged for each. 9) All shipping fees for frozen embryos will be the responsibility of the buyer. It is the responsibility of the buyer and seller to finalize the transfer of the frozen embryos. 10) The consignment fee of $75 per doe/lot will be due when you submit your nominations. The stall and transfer fees and 3% commission will be deducted from the amount due the consignor after the sale.
