1 Printing Mil Std 129 Item Container Labels Printing RFID and non RFID Mil Std 129 compliant item container labels using MIL Comply Labeling Open MIL Comply Labeling. (Start / All Programs / Mil Pac / Labeling) Enter your User ID and click Login. The MIL Comply Login serves to identify the user within the system in multi user environments. It is a simple formality for single users. The User ID does not have to be the same as the computer login, it just needs to be unique across MIL Comply users sharing, or potentially sharing the database. Click File / New to start a new Shipment. Note: If you have already created a shipment, click Open instead. Complete the fields on the New Shipment window and click OK to continue. Contract is your 13 position Contract number as provided by your customer. Order is the Delivery Order for your contract, if required. Shipment is the 7 position Shipment number (AAA9999) you provide to help uniquely identify this shipment. If this is the final shipment for this contract, place a Z in the 8 th position of the Shipment. (e.g. MPT0001Z) Reference Number is a number you provide to help you further identify this shipment. This unique number is an internal reference number only and is not provided to WAWF. By leaving the Assign Automatically check box checked, the software will create a unique Reference Number for you. Click New below the CLIN window to add a CLIN to the shipment.

2 Complete the contract fields on the screen. NSN Part Number Mfg CAGE Nomenclature (Description) Total CLIN qty to be shipped on this shipment. Unit of Issue (UOI) Preservation Method Packaging Date (Month and Year only) Lot Number (if applicable) Shelf Life (if applicable) If Serial Numbers are required, click the View button next to the S/Ns label. Serial numbers can be entered as a range or as specific serial numbers on separate lines or separated by commas. The next two screens are for shipments requiring Unique Identification (UID). UID functionality is only available with the UID License option. Contact Mil Pac for additional information. UIDs are stored in the database which can be created and maintained by the UID Editor in MIL Comply Labeling. UIDs may also be imported or scanned into the database using separate processes. UIDs created in MIL Comply Labeling are integrated into barcode and RFID label printing, as well as RFID Pack Update (ASN) generation. For sequential UID s, enter the First S/N and either the last S/N or the total number to be created and click Generate UID(s).

3 For UID s that are not sequentially numbered, click List of S/Ns and enter the specific serial numbers separated with commas. When ready, click Import Listed UIIs. When UID entry is complete, click Done to close the UID Editor and return to the main Labeling screen. Click the New button at the bottom of the screen to begin printing container labels for Unit Containers, Intermediate Containers and Exterior Containers. Additional Notes: RFID may be embedded onto the Military Shipment Label (MSL) as well as the Exterior Container Label (XCL). Keep in mind that only one RFID tag should be placed on a container. Placing an XCL with RFID and a MSL with RFID on the same container will cause issues with WAWF and could delay receipt of your products as well payment. If you get stuck, please support@milpac.com. If possible, please include screen shots that indicate where you are getting stuck.
