2 Evolution P 3 Precision Pipetting Platform for Microplate Applications The Evolution P 3 (EP3) Precision Pipetting Platform is a flexible automated liquid handler for low-to-high throughput microplate applications using 96 or 384-channel disposable tip dispense heads. The EP3 can easily be configured to perform many common lab applications including Genomic & Proteomic sample preparations, compound management, cell-based assays and other HTS applications. The patented dispense head design is the industry gold-standard for pipetting performance. Creating new labware files: Editing labware files or adding new plates into the labware library can be done in minutes. Copy existing definitions and use the dispense head to evaluate the tip positioning in the wells. The EP3 can easily be configured for logistical applications such as plate reformatting including compression, expansion, replication and whole plate dilutions. The EP3 provides flexibility to meet all of your assay needs. Effortlessly perform whole plate assays as well as serial dilutions within a plate by loading either rows or columns of tips with any of the available dispense heads. In fact, the EP3 will allow any number of tips to be loaded on it s head. The Evolution P 3 Partial Tip Load feature provides flexibility in automatically loading tips on 96- and 384-Tip dispense heads from automatic loading of 96-tips onto a 384-Tip head to loading a single row or column of tips for serial dilutions. Large job? No problem, add up to 400 plate PlateStak storage capacity for your large-scale library reformatting needs. Assays requiring vacuum filtration can be automated directly for increased throughput and flexibility, providing unattended automation for filter binding assays, solid phase extraction (SPE) applications and many more. The vacuum filtration option handles all major plate types requiring filtration, including Qiagen, Promega, 3M Empore TM and Millipore. Evolution P 3 configured for Nucleic Acid Preparation It s your choice. The EP3 can accommodate all popular Nucleic Acid Preparation automation kits and techniques. Rapidly bring either vacuum filtration or magnetic bead based chemistries on line with minimal effort. Large number of plates to process? Run up to 4 vacuum filtration stations or up to 16 magnetic bead stations. Fully automate the process with the optional gripper and bring bulk reagents to the deck with the optional Auto-Replenish station. The EP3 provides precision dispensing in the sub-microliter range with conventional 96 or 384 disposable tip technology and nanoliter transfer with optional hot swappable pin tools. Configure the EP3 with up to a 1536 Pin Tool to address nanoliter transfer of compounds and reagents or perform replications, colony picking, and create high-density membrane blots for expression analysis studies. An optional Pintool accessory is available for nanoliter dispensing in 96-, 384- and 1536-pin models. The EP3 can easily switch between loading disposable tips or loading the Pintool from a docking station that sits on the deck. Optional accessories can be added to enhance the EP3 s functionality, such as a Shaker to keep beads and cells in suspension. Maintain reagent temperatures with heater and chiller deck tiles. The EP3 can even help to minimize your disposal costs by using the Disposal Chute to segregate contaminated tips, tip racks or microplates.
