27 The Idea of MyWays With MyWays regular people transport parcels to recipients while move through the city anyway. This is coordinated through a Smartphone application. MyWays combines the power of social networks with sustainable mobility within cities to promote the efficient and dynamic delivery of parcels. 29 Concept The MyWays process There are 6 steps from creating a MyWays parcels to gaining credits 1. Create a parcel 3. Pickup 5. Credits Recipient creates a MyWays parcel by entering the tracking number, scheduling places & timeslots and setting amount of money he wants to pay 2. Reserving Once a MyWayer has reserved a parcel, he can pick it up at the Service Point. A valid ID is needed to collect the parcel 4. Delivering After successful delivery, the MyWayer gains credits that he can turn into cash MyWayers see nearby parcels on a map, look at the details and can reserve them Then he delivers the parcel to the Recipient and at any time they can talk via MyWays chat DHL Supply Chain Switzerland Lausanne November 2013 DHL Page 29
