6 What We Do Cartonplast Group manages a fleet of 40 million plastic layer pads and more than 121 million pad trips per year. Cartonplast Group operates 13 cleaning and logistic centers in Europe, Russia, Turkey and South Africa. Latin America (Mexico, Brazil), Australia and U.S.A. are in the start-up phase. 7 The Cartonplast Pool System A closed Loop Shipment to CPL-Service Center Empty layer pads are stocked, palletized and shipped back to regional CPL-Service Centers. CPL-Service Center Layer Pads are sorted, cleaned and shipped to container manufacturers.. Fillers Automated system integrates containers into filling equipment for filling and final packaging. 11 Operation Efficiency (2/2) Logistics efficiencies Pooling together multiple filler pick-ups, Cartonplast opitimizes layer pad collection and recovery. In case of non-closed loop pools, i.e. when multiple glass manufacturers, fillers and service centers are clustered together, Cartonplast can route deliveries by optimizing distances and load. Lower layer pad losses Cartonplast has systems and a team of professionals dedicated to tracking its pad fleet. Better monitoring translates into lower loss rate. Cartonplast Group 11

13 Capital Efficiency (2/2) Higher fleet utilization Cartonplast serves a diverse range of customers and can handle weekly and seasonal demand variability better than an individual container manufacturer. Smoother peaks increase the average utilization of the Cartonplast pad fleet, hereby reducing the total investment needed to serve the same volumes. As a result, Cartonplast can charge service and rental fees that are lower than a typical client pool replenishment and capital opportunity costs. Cartonplast Group 13

15 Environmental Policy Cartonplast is committed to reducing the impact on the environment of its operations and is having the Blue Angel award. The material the layer pads are made of is absolutely reliable and with unsurpassed longevity, therefore they allow for countless reuses. Cartonplast is able to produce pads out of recyclate in the same quality as those made out of virgin material, because we only use our scrapped pads as regrind. Damaged layer pads will be recycled thanks to a simple grinding process which guarantees respect for the environment and a minimum of CO2 emissions. Due to a sophisticated technology our cleaning process has only a minimum impact on the environment. Cartonplast Group 15
