2 Jen Butterfly Fox AF Automated unloading, ing and stacking of garments The well-proven Butterfly series meets all the requirements of automatic ing in today's market. The modular design of the series enables individual machine configu-ration, allowing all customer requirements to be met. In combination with the automatic Lobster system hanger, it is possible to fully automate the entire work process chain including feeding, ing, sorting and stacking. There are three additional options available for:

The versatile, highly reliable system consists of top-quality standard components and a future-oriented design. Benefits high availability high performance less moving parts optimum accessibility solid construction easy maintenance easy and silent hanger removal process 1 Feeding section The garment is conveyed accurately and quickly to the feeding section. While the garment (hanging on a system hanger) is being conveyed, the identification in the system hanger can be read by an RFID antenna. The incoming data are stored and used for further processing such as allocation of patterns, sorting and dispatch. 2 Serimento maniche The almost horizontal feeding position allows sleeves to hang naturally a perfect precondition for the following ing process. Sleeve ing is done continuously by means of an air blast. The pattern is automatically allocated and applied by the length para meters of the garment. The width can be continuously adjusted and recorded for each category. 3 Hanger transport The system hanger remains in the garment until the sleeve ing process is complete, as it allows the piece to be precisely aligned. Before lateral ing occurs, the garment is held in a clearly defined position to remove the hanger. Shorter transport paths signifi-cantly reduce production cycle times. 4 Hanger release The number of moving parts is considerably lower in the new hanger unloading unit to facilitate even greater reliability.

The templates can be lowered in the feeding area to adapt to the particular type of linen and facilitate a faster feeding. The transport belt in the lateral ing area can perfectly adapt to the fabric of textiles being processed. Garments are additionally straightened through the horizontal ing motion. 6 First cross section The first cross ing process is carried out using a reversing technique and air blast expelled from several high-precision air nozzles. The cross ing system is cushioned and thus automatically adapts to the thickness of each item. The additional option for heavy work wear contains a mechanical ing knife and a cross with two different settings. The recorded garment data is used to determine the appropriate cross ing setting. 7 Second cross section The second cross uses a reversing technique and an air blast from high- precision air nozzles. Restrictive guiding of the garment in the sandwich conveyor ensures precise ing and immobilization. As with the first cross, the garment data is used to determine the mechanical outlet of items and the strength of the air blast. 8 Stacking unit The stacking unit is a modular construction, allowing many extension possibilities for sorting even without garment sorting system prior to the ing machine. Extra modules can be added in series, making this a truly simple and compact solution. The optional lift stacker with horizontal transfer technique conveys the ed garment to the corresponding stack thus maintaining a perfect. The sorted garment stacks can either be stored per stacking conveyor or transported to a central discharge point via a collecting conveyor.

The versatile Lobster system hangers have been specially developed by JENSEN to allow automated ing of garments and uniforms at the end of the sorting process. This kind of hanger represents a unique feeding solution for garments with narrow collars such as T-shirts. Optimum finishing quality can be achieved thanks to the special design of the shoulder area of the hanger. The collapsible Lobster system hanger is suitable for loading all kind of garments, e.g. jackets, trousers, overalls, hospital gowns and even bib overalls. The Lobster system hangers are equipped with various addressing options, from manual addressing tags to automated chip solutions.

6 The Lobster system hangers are automatically removed from the garments using the new low-noise unloading system and returned to the loading station.
