17 RECOMMENDATIONS PPECB will issue an standing instruction to all shipping lines regarding stepup to the EU Container set point may not be changed prior to the 30 days after gate-in check. There after step-up procedure can be followed to a set point of 4.0 C. Exporter/agent must inform the Shipping Line and PPECB of relevant container numbers to be stepped up. A portable temperature recorder must be installed in the USDA probe 3 position or at the door-end of the container x USDA 3
