4 Key dates In the 70s, commited consumers gathered to get organic food supplies. From those buying groups commercial cooperatives were created in the 80s. Creation of the Biocoop association. Beginning of partnerships through an agreement with the FNAB association Claude Gruffat is elected CEO of Biocoop limited company. Fair trade represents almost ¼ of the total sales (24%) Implementatio n of the Biocoop specification. Biocoop becomes a cooperative society in public limited company form. Responsibilities are shared. Gilles Piquet-Pellorce becomes chief executive of Biocoop limited company. Biocoop 30th birthday!

15 Biocoop Restauration With Biocoop Restauration, the network s savoir-faire can also be tasted out-of-home. Working with local producers groups, without replacing them but by proposing an additional offer for local authorities, Biocoop Restauration works towards the construction of short food supply chains, with the guarantee of ecofriendly, fair and quality products. 25 partnerships with local producers groups More than 900 product references suitable for public catering 15 people Around 4200 clients 6,8M turnover in 2016 Prospects 2017 : 8 M turnover

16 What we offer When we purchase products, we look for local and faitrade, produced in France or North-South (both fairtrades represent 21,4% of our purchase). v 0 v 0 THE BIOCOOP RANGE In 2015, Biocoop offered 125 products under own brand : home care, yogurts, chocolate bars, jams, biscuits, soups ENSEMBLE, A BRAND FOR SOLIDARITY, FROM PRODUCER TO CONSUMER Biocoop, with about product references, offers products for all types of consumers: A range of more than 600 products that guarantees to the consumer a French product (not imported) and a fair price for the producer. v 0 LA BIO JE PEUX A selecion that gathers almost 220 products at a low price. (lower margin for the supplier, the platforms, the stores) v 0 BULK PRODUCTS + de 300 references

21 Our events The «Biotonomes»,day, a regular meeting Objectives : raise consumer awareness regarding new ways to consume and help them to be autonomous players for their consumption. Activities, workshop, social networks, all means and stores from Biocoop network are involved for that day, to make it fun, friendly and responsible theme was : fighting against overwrapping and the end to water in plastic bottles. The third edition of that event took place on the 10th June 2017.
