2 DENSITOP DENSIPHALT Significant benefits... Joint-free High durability Densiphalt is joint-free which increases speed of installation, reduces costs and requires only minimum maintenance. Densiphalt and Densitop withstand tough daily wear from heavy vehicles, aircrafts, forklift trucks, etc. I I I I Resistant to freeze/thaw Densiphalt and Densitop are both documented and classified as very freeze-/thaw008 means resistant, which they011 can withstand repeated temperature fluctuations Maintenance-free Easy to clean Swift installation Impermeable Densiphalt and Densitop are applied swiftly and efficiently on both small and large areas. The extreme dense surface of Densiphalt and Densitop make them liquid-resistant, chloride-resistant and resistant to many chemicals I I I I I The raw materials of Densiphalt and Densitop are strictly controlled and manufacture is performed according to the Densit certified quality system. I I Jan. feb. mar. Densiphalt and Densitop are extremely tough floorings that last for many years with no maintenance. A small degree of maintenance should, however, be expected for outdoor surfaces and in the food industry. Densitop and Densiphalt floorings are easy to clean because of their dense and high strength surfaces. Densitop withstands effective cleaning with hot water and apr. steam cleaning under pressure. DENSITOP I Densit is certified to ISO 9001, ISO and OHSAS 001. I Certified quality Densitop is a thin high strength wearing course. It consists of a high-strength cement-based mortar combined with hard-wearing aggregates and it is delivered as three products, Densitop ST, MT and LT depending on the demands for resistance to slip, wear, impact or chemicals. Densitop is applied as a wearing course in thicknesses from 5 to 5 mm depending on the demands to the area. Densitop can be applied on both new and existing concrete. Densiphalt and Densitop are mamineral products. nufactured of pure Densiphalt and Densitop flooring and pavements are environmental friendly as the surface is dustfree with no loose particles. Due to the extreme density of the flooring, it is not necessary to apply a membrane, because water and liquid cannot penetrate through the layers. Densitop Densitop and Densiphalt withstand very high static loads from racking systems, forklift trucks, heavy vehicles, containers and aircrafts. Furthermore, they011 are very resistant to rutting. Densiphalt can be coloured in a variety of shades. I Environmental friendly solutions DENSIPHALT Densiphalt and Densitop can usually be taken in to use after only hours hardening time at 0 C. This ensures minimum downtime for the customer s operations and activities. Withstands high loads Densiphalt is a semi-fleksible joint-free wearing course, which consists of an opengraded asphalt with the voids filled with a high-strength cement-based mortar. Densiphalt is applied as a mm layer and is laid on an adequate base course such as asphalt, lean-mix concrete or standard concrete. Two extremely strong products Densiphalt Both Densiphalt and Densitop are excellent for indoor flooring and withstand high static loads and driving with forklift trucks. Densiphalt combines the flexible and joint free asphalt pavement with the ultra high-strength and bearing capacity of Densiphalt mortar. A Densitop wearing course provides a hard flooring solution for production and storage areas. The dense surface of Densiphalt and Densitop makes them dust free and is therefore ideal for indoor areas in warehouses, production facilities and offices, etc. I Densiphalt is a durable wear-resistant pavement on areas exposed to heavy traffic. It withstands hard daily wear, rutting, driving with heavy loads, turning wheels and high static point loads. Densiphalt absorbs movements in the subgrade and remains flat and smooth. 3 Pavements for heavy loads outdoors and indoors The possibilities for use of Densiphalt and Densitop are many. The main areas of application are airports, ports, warehouses and distribution centres, heavily trafficked areas and the fresh food industry. Densit assists with guidance and advice in all cases in regard to dimensioning, taking the application, loading and installation conditions into account. Warehouses and distribution centres Flooring and pavements in warehouses and distribution centres are required to provide a safe handling of goods to ensure that the product management is optimal, despite the massive impact from forklift trucks and other vehicles, high point loads, rutting, impact and static loads of goods. Both Densiphalt and Densitop are secure, even and durable flooring solutions. Airports Densiphalt proves strong advantages for pavements in airports. An airport pavement is exposed to severe impacts of aircraft, rolling vehicles, jet fuel, oils and de-icing fluids. The requirements for regular surfaces without holes or cracks are great - Densiphalt ensures better traffic flow on the runways, taxiways, deicing areas and aircraft aprons. Heavily trafficked areas Wear from heavy traffic, turning wheels, sudden braking and rutting expose the pavement to severe stresses. Densiphalt is suitable to withstand these stresses at bus lay-bys, bus and car terminals, heavily trafficked roads, crossroads and roundabouts. Ports Handling of containers, high point loads from stacked containers, rutting, impact and wear from handling are some of the influences, pavements in ports are exposed to. Densiphalt has the strength to secure efficient handling of goods in container and cargo terminals, Ro/Ro and Lo/Lo terminals, bulk terminals and in storage and warehouse facilities. Fresh food industry High standards of hygiene and thus cleaning are important for the floors in the fresh food industry. Furthermore, the floors must also withstand the chemical effects of blood, fat, fluids and salt and mechanical loads from forklift trucks, trailers and machinery. Densitop is the optimal solution for the floors of abattoirs, fish processing, cold rooms and freezers.

4 Valuable advice before, during and after Densit is more than the products Densiphalt and Densitop. Densit assists with advice about the complete pavement or flooring solution, in which the products are part of. The advice is based on more than 5 years knowledge and experience around the world. References worldwide Heathrow Airport Billund Airport Port of Rotterdam Design During the initial planning phase, we think rationally and focused and in some cases, different and unique. Densit contributes early in the design stage with lots of knowledge and experience from many projects worldwide. Densiphalt was used on aprons in a project where an old maintenance building was transformed into external aircraft aprons for wide bodied aircrafts. 45,000 sqm of existing concrete were overlaid with Densiphalt. With its swift installation methods, impermeability, hours of curing and excellent wear and durability characteristics, Densiphalt is an ideal solution. Since 1997, Densit has carried out more than 70,000 sqm of Densiphalt pavement like refurbishment and new applications in Billund Airport - the second largest international airport in Denmark. In total, Densit has installed more than 400,000 sqm of Densiphalt in the port of Rotterdam. Densiphalt is applied on areas in terminals handling containers and cargo. Dimensioning Once the basic documentation is to be prepared, Densit can contribute with calculations and dimension of the flooring or pavement construction with Densiphalt or Densitop. Competent and experienced engineers assist with design to be used to assess requirements for the structure and each layer. Behind the Densit products and consultancy are more than 5 years of experience. The company has been involved in countless projects around the world, working with many professional partners. Case Installation When the flooring or pavement solution is applied, Densit makes guidance material available. And in some cases Densit provides experienced staff available for the project. The descriptions of the selected projects serve as inspiration and documentation of the advantages of the Densiphalt and Densitop solutions. Port of Rotterdam - the Netherlands Case 400,000 m of Densiphalt installed in the world s largest port Densit ApS has provided the world s largest port, Rotterdam, with more than 330,000 square metres of semi-flexible Densiphalt pavement. Densit ApS has over the past decade on numerous accounts provided Densiphalt pavement for the port of Rotterdam both as new build and as renovation solutions. 400,000 m of Densiphalt installed in the world s largest port The Europe Combined Terminals company and Municipal Port Management have been the largest clients for Densit ApS in the port of Rotterdam - especially, when they in 1999 needed to renovate 170,000 square metres of pavement in Port of Rotterdam - the Netherlands two of their cargo terminals because they had experienced problems such as rutting and settlements with the former pavement, which consisted of concrete paving blocks. Therefore Densiphalt was chosen after a study of trials where Densiphalt was the only pavement that withstood the rutting and at the same time could maintain stability and evenness after heavy loads from containers.
