They can also be mixed and matched. A marker board panel module is also optional. Evolve worksurfaces are 1 1 /8 inches in thickness and available in a wide variety of sizes and shapes, allowing you to customize your workstation. Evolve worksurfaces utilize a 3mm PVC edge that is attractive and resilient. Transaction tops maximize productivity, the half-radius worksurface provides the ability to meet at the workstation. All worksurfaces include threaded metal inserts which provide metal-tometal connections of support hardware. With Evolve s convenient desktop connections, you won t have to pay for more connectivity than you need. Just plug in where you sit and you re ready to work. Power can enter the system from the floor and/or ceiling. Direct of floor entry is reversible. Power travels through the base channel and is distributed with an eight (8) wire and four (4) circuit system with one (1) isolated ground and three (3) utility or common circuits. Power distribution housings provided for one (1) duplex outlet per side on 24" wide panels and two (2) duplex outlets per side on panel widths greater than 24". COMMUNICATIONS A,B: For plug and play users, Evolve offers an electronic/data module, allowing the user to have an electrical or data outlet on your worksurface, where you need it. This allows for flexibility to move this important outlet from location to location. C: Evolve worksurfaces incorporate scoops to pass wires from desktop equipment to the base feed. D: Data communication lines can be effectively stored in the six inch base, or on the top of an Evolve panel. If storing data lines on top of the panel, up to 8 CAT5 data cables can be held under the low profile top cap, or up to 50 CAT5 data under the enhanced Evolve top cap. If data lines are stored in the base, up to 128 CAT5 data cables can be installed if electrical is not installed. If electrical components are utilized, then up to 40 data cables can be effectively managed. E: Evolve has an eight wire electrical system, which can be configured as (3 + 1) 3 common + 1 dedicated circuit or (2 + 2) 2 common + 2 totally separate common circuits.
