17 Klaipedian Initiative for Democracy and the Environment NGO PROJECT OF THE YEAR: BEST CANDIDATES Klaipeda seaport development project will increase the flows of freight transport both road and rail bound by 13,000 trailer trucks per day Association seeks to rise public awarness about the effects of such desicion, and to influence decinion makers to ensure the use of the most environmentally friendly land transport for cargo delivery instead.
