2 The Company IGM started its activity in 1992 with a great idea: to extend the know-how of its team, expert in military field, to the automation, transportation, energy and environment areas, aiming to more and more ambitious targets. In over 20 years, IGM had the ability and the specialization in study, design and manufacture of electronic, electromechanical and hydraulic automation systems and equipments, both hardware and software. All the design and manufacturing processes consist of: technical resources optimization flexibility of the activities high quality levels cost reduction The IGM design and technical skills guides us to be a Partner/Supplier for the project and the manufacture of the systems and equipments, searching the best solution for the customer requirements. The management system has been customized to allow the management of all business functions and product traceability. An internal auditor is responsible for overseeing the processes carried out by the various departments in order to ensure the supply of products / services in line with the highest standard requirements. IGM obtained NATO constructor code (AE899); furthermore it has all the company structures and the people qualifications to perform classified works. All operators involved in manufacuring and quality control are trained in-house and their training is periodically checked and verified. The staff of the soldering process are also in possession of the IPC certification. IGM started the procedures for the implementation of the already acquired qualifications in order to obtain the

5 Design Department The design department takes advantage of the most advanced software/hardware systems for 3D drawing, F.E.M. analysis and simulation. The design department has the know-how to develop both electromechanical and electronics equipments and systems. The IGM design team skills allow the creation of integrated systems that require: architectural analisys functional schemes construction process verification through simulation tools specifications and procedures test definition For electronics parts, in particular, the design department make use of reverse engineering techniques and fulfill oneself complex hw/sw multiprocessor systems and real-time multitasking operating systems for embedded equipments. 6 Manufacturing Department The production department can be organized to fulfill both prototypal and serialized product requests. In order to increase its production capability, IGM can also exploit the proficiency of the outsourcers, that are constantly formed/trained together with IGM s staff to follow/execute the customer s specifications and the internal operative instructions. To give a further contribute to the high quality of the products, the workers are supplied with the most sophisticated instruments, machinery and tools. Instrumention is periodically controlled and calibrated by qualified internal staff or, where necessary, by external specialized centres. 7 Testing Department and Customer Service The test department avails itself of a highly qualified staff that has been testing products and systems with state-of-art equipments and certifies them according to the highest standards requirements and specifications. Some of the electronic testing systems has been designed and manufactured by IGM itself. The Company has at disposal a staff of skilled workers who can operate on external sites to install equipments, both realized by IGM and supplied by the customer. This staff can also ensure the full assistance and the maintainance of the supplied products.

8 Logistic Department Due to the growth of IGM GROUP all the logistic activities have been untrusted to IGM SERVICE in order to allow the optimization of the in-and-out flows and cost reduction. IGM SERVICE s duties are: receipt of materials, kitting, realization of small subassemblies and deliveries to partners and customers, all ensured according to the highest quality standards.
