4 1. Introduction This document describes the labware specifications of the Brooks BioStore II for Stockholm Medical Biobank. The Brooks BioStore II system for Stockholm Medical Biobank has been configured with modular assemblies for a specific range of labware. The robotic modules have been installed and tested as dedicated automation components that have a very high degree of reliability for the specific labware for which they are designed to handle. The specificity of these modules means that they are not intended to handle a limitless range of labware types. The purpose of this document is to describe the hardware configuration of the Brooks BioStore II system for Stockholm Medical Biobank and define the specifications of the range of labware that the system is compatible with _0031_Brooks-BioStore-II-Labware-Specifications_Rev1-1 Page 4 of 8

The module will need a rotating gripper head and a 1D barcode reader will have to be installed.
