AWT Group, a member of PKP CARGO Group, is one of the most important providers of rail freight transport in Europe. It provides comprehensive solutions chiefly to larger industrial companies in Central and Eastern Europe, with an emphasis on the transport of heavy commodities: coal, steel, construction materials and products from the automobile, food and chemical industries. Sixty-five years of experience make us a strong rail transport operator with extensive facilities and equipment for providing related services. We are one of the most significant providers of rail freight services in Europe and the second-biggest rail freight transport company in the. We provide domestic and international shipping using complete trains and in groups of wagons. We cooperate with shippers in Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Croatia, and we operate locomotives in the, Slovakia and Hungary. We have a large fleet comprising locomotives and all types of freight wagons. Each year we transport over 11 million tonnes of goods using the national railway network. We operate close to 400 km of our own tracks. AWT Group has many years of experience in rail forwarding. We do not rely solely on one transport provider, either at home or abroad. We design and implement customised, comprehensive transport solutions (3PL solutions) for our customers. We utilise our own extensive fleet of freight wagons as well as free capacity on the market. We organise follow-up transport, including the creation of road-rail-road logistic chains, and offer a complete ACTS intermodal transport system. We are the only forwarding company in the that guarantees the date of delivery of freight wagons. AWT offers comprehensive services using railways (sidings) including related services and administration. When developing new projects in the area of railway management, we closely cooperate with our customers and consult with them regarding the technical and technological possibilities of construction and the composition of services and administration. We own an extensive rail siding network, which includes almost 400 km of tracks. In the Ostrava region alone we operate ten sidings with more than a thousand switches. Within the, we operate about 60 sidings. We are gradually expanding into other countries, including Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. We can arrange track operation and track-based transport at the sidings, inspection activities, track repairs and maintenance, engineering and consulting services in the area of railway construction and operation of track-based transport, including the services of a Safety Consultant. We provide all professional services in the area of repair and maintenance of rail superstructures and substructures as well as of railway signalling and telecommunication facilities. We build and renovate tracks, railway overpasses and crossings and special railway structures; maintain tracks and switches; build and drain hard surfaces and utility distribution networks; assemble, maintain and repair signalling and telecommunication facilities; and install radio communication systems. To conduct our rail services, we use our own machinery and equipment as well as our own assembly centre in Karviná.

INTERMODAL TRANSPORT Thanks to the interconnection of its own rail transport, open terminal and forwarding and logistics services, AWT Group can offer extensive intermodal transport services in the Czech Republic and neighbouring countries. As an independent rail transport company, we provide services to important intermodal transport operators, forwarding agents and other independent companies. Fast, safe, reliable, regular and flexible transport are the main requirements for transporting intermodal transport units. We own an extensive fleet of locomotives that can operate in several countries. We dispatch entire trains and have the capability to reload ISO containers, road trailers and exchangeable extensions (swap bodies). We offer Just in Time transport and monitor the whereabouts of trains via Track & Trace. We are the largest ACTS system operator in Central Europe and the only one in the. The ACTS system consists of special rolling containers, road carriers and freight wagons with revolving frames for containers. AWT has more than 400 ACTS containers of various types, 79 freight wagons of the Slps type and 10 automobile carriers/re-loaders. AWT s terminals in Paskov and Zaječí contribute to the development of intermodal transport provided by the company. Paskov terminal AWT operates one of the few independent open terminals in the. The Paskov terminal covering 31,000 sqm, with a capacity of 2,400 TEU and with tracks of a length of m is situated close to industrial zones and the Czech borders with Poland and Slovakia. By the end of 2018, the area of the terminal will be enlarged to cover an additional 20,000 sqm, and two new tracks, each 375 m long, will be built. Its strategically convenient location in the heart of Europe allows for easy and fast connections with important European ports and terminals. It is located in the immediate proximity of a motorway and has a railway connection to the national rail network. The terminal serves both AWT and external parties, and covers all activities related to transloading, collection, distribution, minor repairs of containers, train clearance, storage of containers on open platforms and customs services at the customs office located right on the terminal grounds. At this terminal, AWT operates container loaders capable of stacking individual containers to up to five layers as well as handling not only regular ISO containers, but also road trailers and exchangeable extensions. Moreover, we have our own tractors for distributing containers and trailers. As the holder of the ECM (Entities in Charge of Maintenance) Certificate, AWT ROSCO provides comprehensive management of freight wagons and ensures that our customers' fleets satisfy the requirements of European Commission regulations. AWT Group leases and manages a fleet of more than 5,000 wagons. In Central and Eastern Europe, it uses high-sided, covered, hopper and flat wagons. We offer our clients the possibility to lease wagons with or without regular maintenance. Our clients include leading carriers and industrial companies in the, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. Our business also includes the cleaning of tank wagons, freight wagons and tank trucks as well as hazardous waste disposal and wastewater treatment. AWT Rekultivace offers comprehensive services comprising reclamation works, earthworks, construction, demolition and project performance. Our current know how is the result of long-term operation and the experience of several generations of employees. We are primarily involved in establishing and operating spoil banks, dump sites and sludge beds, earthworks executed using machinery and explosives, construction works, specialised earthworks, demolition, construction of landfills, liquidation of industrial waste including transport, soil decontamination, elimination of old ecological burdens and restoration of landscapes impacted by mining activities. We operate waste disposal sites and we recycle secondary raw materials. We have extensive experience and trained employees equipped with our special proprietary technologies, which enable us to eliminate old ecological burdens and to carry out decontamination in the course of reclamation works, demolition, earthworks and land maintenance.
