3 Food Outlet Manager (Shift Supervisor), IHA-114, BWT 1-5, LD: 2 Grade/LAD Work Place 18 FSS/FSBC, Chili s Restaurant, Kadena AB Number of position(s) 1 Serves as a Shift Supervisor to Food Outlet Managers for the food outlet operations with a total operation generating an average monthly sales volume using special price index, maintains service and product quality, and ensures that customer s needs and expectations are met or exceeded. 4 Housing Manager, MLC-87, BWT 1-4, LPL: 3 Grade/LAD Work Place 718 CES/CEHMR, Housing Flight, Kadena AB Number of position(s) 1 Provides full customer service to all walk-in customers and incoming telephone calls. Accurately maintains and inputs information into the ACES program. Ensures all required Air Force forms are routed to the Finance office in a timely manner. Prepares documentation for the termination of privately leased housing units. Performs a variety of clerical assignments in support of a centralized housing function which includes off base referrals. Prepares schedules for off base housing inspectors. Set up agency appointments (Inspections/Change of Agency/New Listings). Ensure agencies are registered with the housing office in order to register properties. Schedule agencies an appointment to receive list of required documents, GOJ license of Real Estate Agency Certificate, Certification of Han Stamp, Map to office and guidelines. Once approved, agencies can begin to register properties and apply for a base pass. Review routine housing program documents such as vouchers, applications or certificate of occupancy and conformance with agency requirements and processes in accordance with established guidelines. Counsels off base applicants on rental fees, leases utility service charges, and security deposits. Provides applicants with assistance on problems associated with moving to a new location. Determines eligibility of off-base entitlements such as Overseas Housing Allowance (OHA), Living Quarters Allowance (LQA) and Move in Housing Allowance (MIHA). Reviews tenant's lease, prepares OHA, LQA and MIHA paperwork, and briefs tenant on respective branch of service off-base housing search. Verifies validity of inspection of applicant's selected off-base unit. Inputs all data properly and promptly. Determines resident's government furnishing eligibility, referencing substantive guides, regulations and manuals. Counsels residents of on/off base furnishings requirements, to include appliance requirements for off-base use. Schedules applicants for government furnishings, completes all necessary paperwork. Coordinates the issue and return of government furniture to and from private rentals. Establishes and maintains up-to-date inventory of off base units in accordance with established regulation, guidance and local policy. Unloads trucks or obtains produce, groceries and household supplies in bulk from storage areas, checks them for quantity and quality; opens, unpacks, segregates and stores them at the designated storage areas. Verifies shipments by checking shipping documents. Matches specific item identification by name, stock number, letter, code, quantity, or unit of issue on containers. Reports tampered or broken sales on containers or damaged or deteriorating incoming shipment to supervisor. Retrieve carts from the parking lot. Places and arranges items on shelves, stocking shelves and in snow case or bins in such a manner that merchandise is both attractive to and readily accessible for patrons, taking care to prevent damage to easily bruised perishables or fragile items. 6 Base Wide #49-18 Heating Equipment Inspector and Mechanic - Intermediate-Trainee, MLC-2222, Grade/LPL BWT 2-5 (potential to 2-7), LPL: 0 Work Place 718 CES/CELN2, Housing Maintenance Flight, Kadena AB Number of position(s) 2 Applicants who meet the requirements may be considered for the vacancies of same position located at various installations (Camp Kinser, Camp Foster, and Camp Courtney) within next 90 days. As an Intermediate level trainee, performs duties similar to those of Journeyman worker. Work assignments and instructions are received in the form of detailed work order or verbal instruction which include specific procedures to be followed. Work is spot checked during progress and is closely inspected upon completion for compliance with instruction and adherence to established practices and standards. Maintains, repairs and installs auxiliary equipment for diesel fired and/or electrically controlled steam boilers, heating hot water boilers, electric hot water heaters and furnaces. Installs, repairs, and maintains a variety of uncomplicated heating equipment and systems that do not have complex maintenance requirements. Removes defective equipment, obtains replacement equipment from stock and installs and adjusts replacement equipment. Works on oil fueled heaters, hot air furnaces, heating boilers, and other systems and equipment with similar heat sources, controls, and circulating methods typically located in administrative offices, shops, warehouses, dormitories, residential housing, and motor pools. Replaces defective burners, switches, fuel lines, cutoff assemblies, and examines and adjusts thermostats. Assist Foreman B and/or US supervisor, serving as a group pacesetter, carrying out more difficult tasks, maintaining group discipline, enforcing safety and housekeeping rules, and being responsible for the tools, equipment, and supplies. Provides assistance in planning work to be performed, assigning projects, explaining work assignment and any unusual steps or processes and reviewing work performed. Attends work group meetings and passes on to subordinates instructions received from the Foreman B and US supervisor. Stars work operations by assigning immediate tasks to be performed by individual members of the group led. Verifies shipments by checking shipping documents. Matches specific item identification by name, stock number, letter, code, quantity, or unit issue on containers. Unloads incoming shipments, scans bar codes, or keys receipt information into automated record system. Groups items together or segregates items. Builds pallet loads to facilitate storage. Transports materials from receiving areas to storage. Operates electric, gasoline, LPG, or diesel powered forklift trucks with a lifting capacity of one metric ton or more but less than three metric ton. Assists in accomplishing inventories by counting items and properly completing tally listings and other inventory documents. Skill in operating Forklift. 4. Knowledge of supply operations, material handling, material distributions, and warehouse operations. 5. No Language Proficiency required LPL-0; however, basic English proficiency desired. 1. Must have a good health condition. 2. Must be able to lift heavy items (67 pounds/30 kg). 3. Ability to work in freezer warehouse (-2 to -30 ). 4. Must be able to obtain a GOV driver s license and Forklift operator s license. 5. May work outside of normal duty hours if requested/directed.
