5 07 General information Admission to bachelor s degrees Entry requirements: Completed high school diploma or equivalent Proof of English/German language requirement (depending on the program chosen). This is not required for English/German native speakers. Successfully pass the required admission tests or portfolio review (depending on the program) and an academic interview. Admissions to master s degrees Entry requirements: Bachelor degree from an accredited university listed in the German database of ANABIN with H+ status. Proof of English/German language requirement (depending on the program chosen). This is not required for English/German native speakers. Submit the complete master thesis proposal or master questionnaire (depending on the program) Successfully pass the academic interview or portfolio review admission process Non EU students are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of 50 Once your application together with the required documents has been received, the international admissions team will check the documents and if everything is correct will coordinate the necessary next steps such as tests or interviews. deadlines We offer rolling admissions. 6 English language certificates The English language requirement is B2 or a recognized equivalent certificate to be submitted within one month before the beginning of the program. The certificate should not be older than 2 years. Once you are on campus, you will need to submit the original documents or certified copies. The admission remains conditional until the submission of these documents. student visa Upon receiving the signed contract and reservation fee payment, the university will provide students the official Admission Letter that is required for the German student visa application. German embassies and consular representations will provide information on current entry and residence requirements for Germany. A tourist visa does not entitle the holder to register as a student. Information on current entry regulations and the application form are available from the Auswärtiges Amt at: The visa application should be made as soon as possible as the processing time is around 4 to 8 weeks and Embassies can be very busy at certain periods of the year. 6
