3 Company history 3 Until 1991, the Danube Ironworks was a public company with a structure of basically functional nature. Logistical activities were performed in a functional organizational form (major departments, departments) based on the traditional, activity-based division of labour. The company was converted into a concern in 1992 and the plant divisions operating until then became independent business enterprises. As a result, an absolutely new logistics system and new logistics solutions had to be introduced and worked out.

4 Company history 4 1st June 1992 DUNAFERR PORTOLAN Forwarding Ltd. established Scope of major activities: international forwarding by road, rail, river and sea. Ownership structure: Danube Ironworks DUNAFERR Trading House Ltd. 51% 20% Donau Brennstoffkontor Ltd. 15% Plimsoll Foreign Trade Ltd. 14% : Minor changes in the ownership structure but DUNAFERR always had over 60% of the shares. 2005: After the privatization of DUNAFERR, decision to have full ownership of PORTOLAN Ltd. > 2006: DUNAFERR becomes sole (100%) owner of PORTOLAN Ltd.

5 Company history 5 1st December 1992 DUNAFERR Port Ltd. established Primary task: serving DUNAFERR Company Group by discharging base materials arriving on the Danube and loading finished products into barges. Ownership structure: DUNAFERR Danube Ironworks plc. 92,82% DUNAFERR Steelworks Ltd. 7,18% 1999: PORTOLAN Ltd., together with DUNAFERR, becomes shareholder of DUNAFERR Port Ltd. 2007: ISD PORTOLAN Ltd. becomes 100% owner of DUNAFERR Port Ltd.

Ownership structure: DUNAFERR Danube Ironworks plc. 25% M.Preymesser Beteiligungs GmbH. 25% DUNAFERR PORTOLAN Ltd. 25% Mercurius 16 Ltd. 25% 2006: Ownership structure changes. Owners: DUNAFERR and Portolan Ltd. 2007: DUNAFERR Logistics Ltd. integrated into ISD PORTOLAN Ltd.
