COMPANY PROFILE Bradfor Limited was established in 1996 in Rostrevor, Northern Ireland. Our family run company has developed into a very strong Small to Medium Enterprise (SME). At Bradfor, we recognise the importance of developing strong working relationships with our customers and we endeavour to meet all of their requirements. We apply lean manufacturing techniques throughout the business to ensure high-quality products are produced consistently and effectively, enabling us to provide a competitive pricing structure and meet customer delivery schedules. Our highly-skilled and experienced team are available to the customer to discuss any part of the agreed contract, such as; monthly capacity planning to ensure efficient allocation of production schedules to meet delivery requirements, First Article Inspection and in-house kitting of completed products. The Quality Management System applied throughout the organisation is ISO 9001: 2008 and AS9100: Rev C accredited. The system is audited annually by SGS and the results have been exceptional, with no non-conformances to the standard over the entire period of application. We are proud to have obtained the SC21 Bronze Award. Our next goals are to achieve the EFQM 3 Star Award and the SC21 Silver Award. Other achievements have seen our Managing Director winning the Outstanding Business Woman of the Year Award for Northern Ireland. Achieving these awards allows us to continuously improve and develop our own performance, with all levels of staff becoming more involved in our decision making processes. Such awards have also enabled us to fulfil our ambition of becoming one of the leading manufacturers of seat covers, diaphragms, pouches, straps and general upholstery within the Aerospace Industry Sector. 1

OUR COMPANY OBJECTIVE Our company objective is to deliver excellent customer service, both in terms of quality and delivery, through lean manufacturing processes. 2

At Bradfor, we manufacture an extensive range of Aerospace cabin seating components, including: first class and economy dress covers; diaphragms; straps; pouches and general upholstery (such as headrests and literature pockets) all of which are manufactured using high-quality fabric and leather. During the manufacturing process, our experienced operative team ensure all quality specifications are adhered to, ensuring that the customer receives cost-effective products with up to three years wear and tear. To us, safety is paramount in the manufacturing of our products, particularly with regards to pull straps. Cheap, low grade materials are simply not an option. Customers who may have bespoke requests can have confidence that our production team are flexible, have a wide-range of skills and are enthusiastic in meeting the customers requirements, even assisting the customer by repairing dress covers which are not manufactured at Bradfor. This year has seen Bradfor produce large quantities of products which have already travelled many of thousands of miles. In 12 months we have produced: 100,000 seat covers 150,000 diaphragms 100,000 pouches 90,000 straps 4

SEAT COVERS Seating is considered to be the most significant factor in a customers first impression when stepping into an aircraft. It is therefore essential that our seat covers are not only designed to look professional, but to also keep in mind your passengers comfort during their flight. Bradfor seat covers are available in a range of designs and fabrics, which are well suited to economy, business class or first class seats and meet all health and safety requirements. 5

In the past, the bottom cushion of an aircraft seat was supported by a diaphragm made from aluminium, which were time consuming to install and replace, and were uncomfortable for the passenger. Diaphragms are an integral part of an aircraft seat structure which, today is designed with the passengers comfort at heart and are easily replaceable. Bradfor diaphragms are flexible enough to keep your passengers comfortable throughout their flight, but also durable, with the longevity to last thousands of flights. DIAPHRAGMS 6

STRAPS Straps are a vital part of the overall safety procedure within the aircraft, as they are used to open the life vest in the event of an emergency. Therefore, to ensure the straps operate effectively, when required, Bradfor have four key steps within the manufacturing process: The use of high quality materials that meet fire retardant standards. A very experienced team of sewing machinists. Regular quality spot checks by the Team Leaders and Quality Manager. Final inspection by highly experienced Examiners. 7

LIFE VEST POUCHES Bradfor pouches ensure that the life vests are safely stored, so as not to trap seat belts or pull straps, which may cause inflation or damage. The strong stitching, material and simple design, increases the durability, meaning that risk of damage from passenger movement, or bags stowed underneath seating, is reduced, whilst still being easily accessible in case of emergency. 8

HEADREST COVERS Our headrests are soft and flexible, again placing the passengers comfort at high priority. Bradfor headrest covers can be made to match or complement your seat cover design, in a range of high quality fabrics. 9

LITERATURE POCKETS Literature pockets main purpose is to store emergency instructions and advertising collateral for the passenger to browse. Bradfor literature pockets can be designed to match or complement your seat cover design. High-quality fabrics and springs are used to ensure durability and withstand frequent usage. 10
