4 CINCINNATI HUB CAPABILITIES Why CVG? The Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky Airport (CVG) operates as our main international hub delivering industry-leading pickup and delivery times and further enhancing our international service offering. CVG is strategically located within one hour flight time to 60% of the U.S. population. CVG s state-of-the-art autosort for letters and small parcels is capable of handling 325,000 pieces per night. CVG facility handles a wide variety of shipments including letters, boxes, and palletized nonconveyables. CVG Hub has full import/export capability. 90% of shipments are cleared at time of arrival. CVG facility is ISO 9001:2008 certified. CVG is certified through the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) program. TAPA certification, recognized globally as the industry standard for cargo facility and transport security, is awarded only to facilities that comply with the highest security standards CVG Hub Introduction Page 3

6 INVESTING IN OUR NETWORK: CINCINNATI HUB Continued Infrastructure Investment at CVG Hub July 2009 Completed $18.5M investment to refurbish CVG hub and relocate operations. February 2011 Completed $12.5M investment to upgrade IT applications running the CVG autosort. October 2011 Completed $22.5M investment to expand existing aircraft parking and construct 9 new aircraft gates for wide-body aircraft. 7 CINCINNATI HUB PROVIDING CUSTOMER SOLUTIONS Leveraging DHL Global Capabilities Locally via CVG Early AM Delivery for the time-critical and temperature-sensitive requirements unique to life sciences and clinical trial logistics customers. We enable them to perform immediate testing for timely results to their major pharmaceutical clients. Late Pick Up capabilities for retail and consumer goods clients taking web orders across the US right up until end of business from West Coast customers and still picking, packing and shipping the same day. Direct Hub Pickup for critical parts for production line down scenarios for the automotive industry and other mission critical parts required to be on site prior to the start of first shift. 8 ENVIRONMENTAL AND COMMUNITY IMPACT CVG Community Impact - DHL CVG Hub participates in many community events in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas. The hub donated over $55k in 2011 and plans to exceed efforts in GoGreen Accomplishments: Over 137k lbs of material was recycled Clear plastic wrap and corrugated cardboard sold in bales back to waste management company which offset the total cost of recycle program Trash compactor pickups reduced by 50% 2012 GoGreen Objectives: Recycle goal set at 250k lbs Colored plastics to be bailed and sold 2012 Community Events: Walk Now for Autism Speaks Hoxworth Blood Drive Walk For the Cure Make a Wish Foundation Shriners Hospital for Children Brighten Center Recycle containers placed in all work spaces Motion sensors installed in all common work spaces to save energy CVG Hub Introduction Page 7
