1 All your shipments to Overland should be made using the Bill Receiver billing option with UPS. Please find below instructions and job aids to facilitate your compliance with Overland s shipping policies. Routing Instructions for UPS Ground and Air For shipments up to a total shipment weight of 2000 lbs. and with individual cartons that are less than 150 lbs. actual or dimensional weight, use UPS Ground. Use UPS Next Day Air and Second Day Air for time-sensitive shipments using the bill receiver billing option when requested. *Note that preapproval by Overland is required to utilize either of these services! UPS shipments must have the reference #1 field completed with the prefix letters PO and then the order number as assigned by Overland. Example: PO (For an example, please see the attached illustrations) Overland Sheepskin is self-insured. Please do not declare any merchandise insurance value. UPS parcel shipments must be non-palletized, individually packaged and individually labeled. Once the UPS parcel shipment has assigned tracking # s, please the tracking # s along with your packing list to intransit@overland.com When using UPS parcel service select the bill transportation charges to Receiver billing option. Please refer to the screen shots in Appendix B for using UPS Worldship or UPS internet shipping to bill transportation charges to the receiver. All UPS Ground and UPS Air shipments are to be billed to the appropriate Overland UPS account number. When shipping directly to the Overland Sheepskin Distribution Center at the address of 1800 W Burlington, Fairfield, IA using our third party UPS account (if you don t have our account number, contact routing@overland.com). If shipping directly to one of Overland s retail stores please contact Overland at routing@overland.com for the UPS account number needed for billing. Under this arrangement, shipping charges will be invoiced directly to Overland while additional fees associated with your UPS packages including pickup fees will be invoiced to you. For shipments over a total shipment weight of 2000 lbs. or that have individual cartons in excess of 150 lbs. actual or dimensional weight, please Overland at routing@overland.com for instructions. Additional Routing and Pickup Considerations Although you are going to be billing to our UPS account number, you will need your own shipper account number for pickup and routing purposes when shipping via UPS to our facilities. Your account number will not be billed for regular transportation charges if you follow the enclosed instructions.
