Incorporated in 1975, The Hiller Family commercial activities began with the mining, processing, and sales of bituminous coal. Over the years, our experience has enabled growth and expansion into other key industries. During the 1980 s, Hiller entered the sale and distribution of aviation fuel, ultimately becoming a leading domestic supplier of jet fuel and aviation gasoline within the business aviation marketplace. During this decade, we maintained our ongoing coal commerce to steam and power generation coal consumers. In the 1990 s, we began carbon processing and distribution, becoming a strategic supplier to the electric arc steel industry. Highest of quality standards with unique customer-focused solutions provided a solid company foundation. In 2010, World Fuel Services (NYSE:INT) purchased the Hiller family aviation interests. Today, Hiller Carbon is a specialty supplier of carbon and minerals to a wide number of industries.
