Road, Kolkata -01 Sealed tenders on items rate basis are invited from Bank s empanelled electrical contractors (HV) for the captioned work in Bank s Head Office Building at 2 N.S. Road, Kolkata-01. The tenders may be collected from and submitted in sealed cover to the Bank s Estate Management Department, Head Office 2 N.S. Road Kolkata as per following program. 1 Issue of tender From to document 2 Last date for On or before at 1500 hrs submission of tenders 3 Opening of tender On at 1600 hrs 4 Time period for 30 days completion of work 5 Taxes The price quoted will be inclusive of GST, loading, unloading, carriage etc. required for proper completion of work. 5 Liquidated damages for delay If the work is not completed to the satisfaction within the stipulated period, the contractor shall be bound to pay a sum equivalent to 1% of the accepted tendered per week subject to ceiling of 10% of the accepted contract amount by way of liquidated damages and not as penalty during which the work remains uncommenced or unfinished after expiry of the completion date. 6 Payment terms No advance will be paid. The Final payment will be made after satisfactory completion of work. Income tax will be deducted as per the rules. Retention will be deducted from the bill and to be released after 12 months from the date of virtual completion provided no defects is observed during the period. The Bank will not be bound to accept the lowest tender and reserve the right to accept or reject any or all the quotation without assigning any reason whatsoever. (A. K. Nim) Chief Manager (CE)

The work to be completed within a period of 30 days from the date of work order. 2. All erasures and alterations made while filling the tender must attested by initials of tenderer. Overwriting of the figures is not permitted. 3. The bank reserve the right to reject any or all the tender, accept part of any tender, entrust the entire work to any contractor or divide the work to more than one contractor (item wise) without assigning any reasons or giving any explanation. 4. The rates quoted in the tenders shall include all required materials such as wires, cables etc. and all charges of scaffolding, tool and plants, railway freights, labour conditions and fluctuations in rates, octroi and any other taxes or expenditure of carrying out the works. 5. The contractor should quote rate and amount in figures as well as in words tendered by them. The amount of item should be worked out and the requisite totals to be given. 6. If the work is not completed to the satisfaction of the Employer within stipulated period, the contractor shall be bound to pay to the Employer a sum equivalent to 1% of the accepted tendered amount per week subject to ceiling of 10% of the accepted contract amount by way of liquidated damages and not as penalty during which the work remains uncommenced or unfinished after expiry of the completion date. 7. Contractors are required to organize the work in such a way that working of bank s Head Office Buidling is not affected. Contractor is required to take adequate care during progress of work to protect employees of Head Office, furniture etc. In case any damage, contractors at their own cost shall make the same good. Contractors to submit time schedule of work. After completion of work, cleaning of floors, furniture, etc to be done to the satisfaction of officers. 8. No advance will be paid. The Final payment will be made after satisfactory completion of work. TDS will be deducted as per applicable rules. 9. Final payment will be made on satisfactory completion of the job and submission of final bill. 3 Schedule of Works: Supply, Installation and commissioing of 415 Volts 200 KVAR Capacitor Panel in Bank Head Office Building at 2 N.S.Road, Kolkata S.No DESCRIPTION UNIT QTY RATE AMOUNT CAPACITOR PANEL 200 KVAR CAPACITOR PANEL : 1 Design, manufacture, supply of 200 KVAR capacitor bank panel consisting of 200 KVAR Capacitor units (1x100KVAR, 1x50 KVAR, 2x25 KVAR ) in tier formation; housed in an integrated cubicle type, indoor type automatic switching 'ON' and 'OFF' control panel with dust and vermin proof hinged and lockable doors complete with interconnections, bonding to earth and painting (suitable for 400/440 Volts, 3 phase 50 Hz supply system). Enclosure of capacitor panel shall be liberally designed to take care of internal heat emission by capacitor unit without forced cooling and to limit the temperature rise with in permissible limit. However, louvers are allowed to facilitate extra cooling. Automatic switching "ON" and "OFF" with 6 steps automatic control relay on the control panel for 200 KVAR capacitor banks. Each panel consists of: Incoming 1 No. 400 Amp TP with adjustable thermal magnetic release type MCCB of 50 ka breaking capacity. Bus Bar 1 Set of 600 Amp TP busbars of high conductivity electrolytic quality aluminium alloy. TP 'electrolytic' Aluminium Bus Bars of suitable length. Bus bars shall be colour coded and insulated by heat shrinkable sleeves & clip on shrouds for joints. The bus bar sizing calculations shall be submitted for approval, after considering all derating factors. Indications Phase indicating lamps each backed up with 2 amp MCB and ON/OFF toggle switches. Correction Relay 6 step APFC relay having facility to change the sequence of switching 'ON' the capacitor banks as required. The program of APFCR shall be re settable to enable sequance of ON/OFF of individual bank, so that the end unit of capacitor bank is not kept idle for long. 4 1 No. 225A of MN 80C or equivalent capacitor duty contactors suitable for 100 KVAr Rating. 1 Nos. 110A of MN 80C or equivalent capacitor duty contactors suitable for 50 KVAr Rating. 2 Nos. 40A of MN 80C or equivalent capacitor duty contactors suitable for 25KVAr Rating. 1 No. 100 KVAR MPP capacitor bank with 7% D-tuned 1 Nos. 50 KVAR MPP capacitor bank with 7% D-tuned 2 Nos. 25 KVAR MPP capacitor bank with 7% D-tuned 4 Sets of 'RED' and 'GREEN' push buttons for manual operation of capacitors. Indicating lamp in each 100/50/25 KVAR capacitor chamber unit to indicate "ON/OFF" status of capacitor unit Push button to switch off the capacitor bank in manual and auto mode.
