4 PROGRAM NAME (Options) Breathing Air Systems Operator Program Description Safety offers the Breathing Air Systems Operator Program to existing and new customers wanting to learn more about their Safety Simple Air, Hush Air, Hush Air Connect (coming soon) or Liberty systems. This class includes training on basic operation of the Breathing Air Systems, as well as, how to perform end-user required routine maintenance. Program Benefits Operate equipment properly. Improve fill rates and life of product. Perform basic maintenance per owner s manual to keep equipment in operational condition. Decrease system downtime and actively help prevent unbudgeted maintenance expenses. Improve record keeping that can help you troubleshoot an emerging problem and that is required by regulatory agencies. Improve operator responsiveness of when equipment requires corrective action. Recommended Time 6 hours or ½ day Recommended Audience Operators requiring training before use of installed stationary or mobile breathing air systems. Operators must be trained by an Authorized SCOTT Safety Technician in the proper operation of the stationary or mobile breathing air system. All scheduled maintenance beyond the scope of this program must be noted by the operator to be performed by a SCOTT certified service technician.

5 Recommended class size The class size is recommended to be a maximum of 8 students; however the class size can vary if you have the supporting environment, equipment, and have the appropriate instructor-to-student ratio. Liberty I (single-axle); Liberty II (double-axle) Liberty options: electric brakes, a high pressure hose reel, a flood light assembly, and a Cold Weather Package for operation in cold temperatures. Along with a compressor, end users must have a fully operational control panel and filling station. Course Objectives At the end of this training, students will be able to properly demonstrate the following skills by using the SCOTT Operating and Maintenance Manuals:. Perform pre-operational checks on compressor or trailer. 2. Navigate X4 controller functions and display screens (if option available).

Observe or perform air samples checks.
