New Edit Order Following several clients requests, Advance Workshop 2019 provides a new tool for editing an imported Order. With the help of this tool, it is now possible to create / modify an order by adding / modifying parts like profiles, plates, bolts and generic elements. New Inventory Database Following a customer s request related to the Electric Tower market, the users can now save a steel structure, entire or in part, in the Advance Workshop database in order to re-use in the production process. Using the Convert to Order command, it is thus possible to build a new order based on a previously saved structure in order to send it to production. 4

New Stock Inventory Related to the database, it is now possible to manage the inventory in the stock. For each inventory, the user can set a quantity for reordering and also an amount to be sent to production. When an inventory is sold and the quantity falls below the reorder point, Advance Workshop automatically creates a production order and sends it to fabrication. When the order is completed, Advance Workshop increases the stock quantity based on the quantity produced. New Sell Orders and Sold Stock Advance Workshop now allows selling commercial elements in a new, separate environment. It is possible to create a new Sell Order directly from the toolbar. The user can create sell orders for profiles, plates, bolts, generic elements as well as for the Inventory. When a sell order is created, all elements are reserved in the standard stock. When the same order is delivered, all orders are stored in a separated stock called Sold Stock. 5

New command in CAD system New commands are now available in the CAD environment: Plate Fold, New plate for points, Import machining. The Plate fold command allows adding fold information on a plate. Details such as: fold points (initial and final), angle and radius are necessary. The New plate for point command allows the user to create or modify a plate by providing all contour points (X, Y). The new feature Import machining allows users to copy any machine-processing from one profile to another, keeping the same cross section and length. Thus, Advance Workshop automatically searches the database for elements with the same cross section (profile name) and length; next, it proposes a list of available elements as well as the machining list. By clicking OK, all selected processes will be replicated. 6

New functions for console Following a request from the Canadian market, the capability to detect the time spent on a job and within the Work Center has been integrated in Advance Workshop 2019 thanks to the new Console feature. For each worker, users can scan or write the Order name and the Work Center name so as to link these to a certain activity. In this way, each user will be able to track the amount of hours assigned for each order / production activity. 7

New drivers As a result of several requests, new drivers have been developed: a Driver for new generation BLM Laser machine in IFC format, a Rush Scortegagna Driver and a Press break Driver. 8

Terminal server version Advance Workshop has a new, major upgrade: Terminal Server version availability. It is therefore possible to install all Advance Workshop packs on one, unique, server (with the necessary prerequisites) and work with Advance Workshop from a terminal server connection. This allows eliminating all network issues, like firewall, Antivirus, bad connection, etc. Furthermore, this enhancement enables Advance Workshop to work much faster. 9

Manual Plate Nesting Based on some customers requests, a new feature for associating plate parts to a stock plate sheet has been added in Advance Workshop. This function allows creating a fast plate nesting without the use of nesting software. 10
