1. MomentumPro Mobile Warehousing The objective of the MomentumPro Mobile Warehousing application is to provide a mobile client for the MomentumPro product focused on the needs of both warehouse personnel and inventory managers. The Mobile Warehousing product is built to take advantage of barcode scanning devices and will maintain a real-time connection to the MomentumPro database to improve data entry accuracy and efficiency. The mobile client will run online to the MomentumPro application, displaying up to date inventory details and allowing direct processing of transactions back to the database from the handheld device. In addition, the mobile client will utilise a local data storage for operations that are currently work in progress. Local data storage on the handheld device will also allow the mobile client to download task specific information for use offline or in areas of the warehouse where network connectivity is problematic. Key warehouse functions to be provided within the Mobile Warehousing application will include; Stock inquiry, Stock count entry, Customer order picking, Stock put away and Warehouse bin transfers. The first phase delivery will include both Stock inquiry and Stock count entry functions. The Mobile Warehousing product is built on the Microsoft mobile operating system for ruggedised mobile devices (Windows Embedded Handheld). The Windows Embedded Handheld operating system is widely used across all major providers of handheld devices for the warehouse environment. 1.1 Document Conventions The following conventions are used in this documentation: FEATURE Module or Function Title Screen or Window Title Buttons, Drop-down Lists, Radio Buttons, Fields and Keyboard Keys CONVENTION All indicated within the content of this document using BOLD CAPITALISED text. 5 2.3 Proposed features The following features are proposed for future stages of the Mobile Warehousing application Customer order picking To deliver improved efficiency in stock picking for customer orders, this feature will provide warehouse personnel real-time access to their allocated order pick lists. The Mobile Warehousing customer order picking program will allow warehouse staff to view their work lists and process picking details while roaming the warehouse. Warehouse managers will maintain control over the allocation of warehouse personnel tasks through the MomentumPro Pick Processing program Stock put away The Mobile Warehousing Stock put away program will interface with the Put Away Entry program within MomentumPro. This feature will provide the ability for warehouse staff to process stock put away accurately and efficiently at the point of unpacking receipted goods. Stock put away management and work allocation will be provided through the MomentumPro Put Away Processing program Warehouse bin transfers Movement of stock within the warehouse will be provided through the Mobile Warehousing application. 6 3. Stock Inquiry The Mobile Warehousing application provides a Stock Inquiry program for performing online stock inquiries against the MomentumPro product. The details displayed within the mobile client are designed to fulfil the needs of warehouse personnel. The main detail screen displayed for a stock inquiry contains general product information and details of the local stocking quantities for the item. A number of additional detail options are provided from the stock inquiry Options button. These options include; Quantities, Bins, Lot and Serial tracking, User fields and Product images. momentumpro Stock Inquiry 6

4. Stock count entry When first selecting Stock Count Entry from the Warehouse Mobility menu the user is prompted to select a Stock Count to which they will be recording count details. The user may enter a Stock Count (i.e. MomentumPro Stocktake) number or lookup a stock count for their warehouse. Following entry or selection of a valid Stock Count number the Stock Count Description, Warehouse, Scheduled date and Started date are retrieved from the MomentumPro stocktake and are displayed for confirmation. Once the Stock Count has been confirmed the details are saved to the device and the user may then proceed with the Stock Count Entry. The selected Stock Count will remain active and In Progress on the device until such time as the user has completed entering counts. momentumpro Stock count entry 10

Once a Stock Count is active on the device the user will be presented with the following Count Entry screen upon selection of Stock Count Entry from the Main Menu. From this screen the user can record bin counts for each product. Product details for a MomentumPro Stocktake may be downloaded for selected bins or for all bins to the Mobility Warehousing App. To preload the Product details to the device, the user can select the (Options) button from the program toolbar and access the Download bins option. From the Download Bins screen a specific bin or wildcard bin selection may be entered. When a valid bin selection is entered a count of the bins and products for the selection is displayed. The user may then confirm the download operation by selecting the Download button. momentumpro Stock count entry 11

Once the details have been downloaded to the device the user may perform the Stock Count Entry without need for a persistent connection to the MomentumPro Server. Only when Count Entry is completed for the Downloaded products is it necessary to reconnect to the Server to synchronise the entered count details with the MomentumPro stocktake. To enter bin counts from the Stock Count Entry screen the user must first choose the Bin Location they are working from. The Bin button at the top of screen may be selected to enter/scan a specific bin location or choose a bin from the list of downloaded bins. Once a bin has been selected the user may enter/scan a product code or barcode in the Product field. The Count quantity for the product in the bin may be incremented automatically by scanning the product code multiple times or the Bin Count may be entered manually by selecting the Bin Count button at the bottom of the screen. A Default Count Scan Quantity may be configured from the Options menu via the toolbar button. A configurable option is also available from the Options menu to update the product count on the first scan of the product. When choosing to update the count quantity manually via the Bin Count button, the following Enter Count screen is displayed. The user may use the touch screen or the device keypad to enter the count, or the + and buttons may be used to increment the Count by a specified quantity. momentumpro Stock count entry 12

4.1 Lot/Serial Tracked items When a Serial or Lot tracked product item is entered/scanned, the Bin Count button on the count entry screen will be disabled and instead the count must be recorded via the Lot/Serial button. For Serial tracked products, as each Serial number is entered/scanned a serial number entry is added to the serial numbers grid and the Bin Count quantity is automatically incremented. For Lot tracked products, as each Lot number is entered/scanned a lot number entry is added to the lot numbers grid. The user may then select the entries from the grid to display the Enter Count screen and enter the correct count quantity for each lot number. momentumpro Stock count entry 13

4.2 Blind Stock Counts The Mobility Warehousing interface in MomentumPro provides a Show Expected Count setting to control whether Expected Quantities will be displayed on Stock Count Entry screens of the Mobility Warehousing App. If the Show Expected Count setting is not enabled in the interface configuration the Expected Quantity fields will be hidden from the users of the Mobility Warehousing App and existing serial number details for Serial tracked products will not be pre-loaded. 4.3 Synchronising Stock Counts to MomentumPro Each time the user leaves the Stock Count Entry three options are presented. The user may choose to Save the stock counts (Note: Stock Counts are saved as they are entered this option simply allows the user to leave the Stock Count Entry with the intention to complete count entry at a later time.), Synchronise the counts with MomentumPro or Discard (cancel) the stock counts. To Synchronise the counts with MomentumPro a network connection is required to the MomentumPro server. The Synchronise operation will transfer any count details entered on the device to the MomentumPro stocktake. The count quantities entered will be added to the stocktake count quantities for each stocktake line. If MomentumPro detects any discrepancies with the count details (e.g. a mismatched serial number) the uploaded detail will be logged and flagged on the stocktake for review. The uploaded count discrepancies must be resolved in MomentumPro before finalising the stocktake. momentumpro Stock count entry 14
