For reversible items with pockets: - Care label and country of origin are to be sewn into the inside pocket - The logo label, country of origin and fiber content must be sewn at the neck with loose stitching so that it can be removed by the customer without damage to the fabric or this information can be on a hangtag at the back of neck. 2 Catherines Labeling And Ticketing Placement/attachment and label order forms IT IS THEVENDORS RESPONSIBILITY TO INSURE THAT ALL LABELS ARE RECEIVED ON TIME. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE YOUR LABELS YOU MUST CONTACT YOUR SUPPLIER TO MAKE ARANGEMENTS FOR THEM TO BE SHIPPED. The Vendor will be invoiced directly for all labels. In 2 piece garments, which are sold as a set, the logo and price ticket, are required in the top only. The legal information (country of origin, care instructions and fiber composition) can also be in the top piece only provided that the fiber composition is the same for both pieces and the care instructions are appropriate for both pieces. All labels must be securely attached and free from loose threads. In general no stitching used to attach labels should be visible on the outside of the garment. Attach all labels in a manner, which eliminates raw edges in the label, which may fray/unravel. Woven labels, which have 4 finished edges, may be stitched along the two vertical sides or along all 4 sides. Labels must be stitched with matching thread. Monofilament nylon thread is unacceptable. *Specific placement and attachment is required as described and shown in the following section. The following general guidelines apply to all Catherines merchandise. Sample Care Label (SEE CORP GENERAL INFO.) All merchandise shipped to Catherines is required to have a logo label permanently affixed. This label will either be a Catherines designated label or the vendor s brand label as identified on the Purchase Order. Failure to attach a logo garment label and tickets and hangtags can result in refusal of merchandise at the vendor s expense or a charge back in accordance with the schedule of Charge Backs and fees. Purchase Orders that specify hangtags must have them applied in the correct location. Failure to attach hangtags when specified on Purchase Order will result in a charge back in accordance with the Schedule of Charge Backs and Fees. All vendors and suppliers shipping to Catherines are required to preticket and label merchandise 100%. It is the vendor s responsibility to ensure that price tickets and hangtags, when indicated, are received for each Purchase Order. Incorrect ticketing or failure to ticket will result in refusal of shipment or in a charge back in accordance with the Schedule of Charge Backs and Fees. Under no circumstances are any markings or stickers to be applied to the Catherinesretail price ticket. Markings or stickers on Catherines retail price tickets will result in a chargeback in accordance with the Schedule of Charge Backs and Fees.Placement of price tickets, labels and hangtags are discribed and diagrammed on the following pages. Failure to attach price tickets, labels and hangtags in the proper location will result in a charge back in accordance with the Schedule of Charge Backs and fees.

3 Tickets As of February 3 rd 2008, we are discontinuing the process of shipping retail tickets direct to vendors from Charming Shoppes Inc. We will continue to provide tickets only up to the ticket require date of February 3rd, Fashion Bug, Catherines, Lane Bryant Outlet, and Petite Sophisticate Outlet vendors will order direct from our ticket provider effective February 3 rd Our new ticket provider is Checkpoint Systems, Inc. Vendors will be required to establish an account with Checkpoint Systems by entering the Check-net web site and completing the application form. A username and password will be provided upon approval. It will take approximately 3 to 5 business days for Checkpoint Systems to process your credit application and provide a username and password. The Checkpoint web address is: Vendor Support/questions CheckNet Call Center at All information regarding the ordering procedure can be found on the Checkpoint website including a document containing frequently asked questions and answers. The charges for price tickets will remain unchanged, however, rather than receiving a chargeback for tickets from Charming Shoppes, Checkpoint will be invoicing you directly for all tickets that are required. Tickets will be produced both in the US and in many international countries in proximity to factory locations. Tickets will be available on the Checkpoint website according to our normal delivery timelines. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ORDER TICKETS IN A TIMELY MANNER TO ENSURE THAT SHIP DATES ARE MAINTAINED. NO EXTENSIONS WILL BE GRANTED. Re-orders will be the vendor s responsibility. The ship method, ship location, and quantity can be adjusted for each order. Average lead time for Checkpoint-supplied price tickets is one to three days (does not include shipping). Some orders may be produced the same day that they are ordered. Price tickets will be shrink wrapped to the size & color level. Each style will be placed in one bag and then in a carton for shipment. Please ensure your account is maintained in good standing.

Multiple and single pairs sold with a paper band or fold over card-apply gum label to the back of the band or card. Black J Hooks should be used for singles. All Hooks should be pointing the same direction - to the right.1
