The surcharge is based on the rate posted on the last day immediately preceding the beginning of each month for regular unleaded fuel, rounded up to the nearest penny. The GasBuddy Historical Price Chart can be found at The fuel surcharge is calculated at 0.5% for each $0.10 increase in regular unleaded fuel.
