28 What is the Role for the Private Sector? Council is looking to engage creatively with the private sector in the Rebuild SCIRT: Creating a strong alliance based model for delivery, and possible arrangements post SCIRT. Car Parking: Partnering with Private Developers to rebuild our off street assets New Technology Investigations: - Electric Vehicle Fleet (Combined with other agencies) - Car Sharing Schemes (including EV based schemes) - Bike Sharing Public Transport: - Mayoral forum is looking at new models for management and delivery of Public Transport Services and Infrastructure Understanding Demand: - Improved traffic flow data and real time management systems.
