2 CELEBRATING 20 YEARS IN BUSINESS RMGroup offer a comprehensive range of service products to its customers, with many electrical and mechanical engineers to call on we are able to attend site at short notice. Technical Support RMGroup realises that there may be a requirement for support with machinery on site or remotely. We have a number of service plans that can be put in place in order to adequately maintain machinery. Preventative Service Contracts RMGroup Service contracts are the best way to ensure as little downtime as possible with servicing at regular intervals to maximize the lifetime of the equipment. Preventative maintenance detects any malfunctions or issues before they cause you downtime. Machinery will also be calibrated and/or adjusted to work to its optimum performance. Emergency Response Package Designed to support unplanned down-time, our priority is to resolve the problem and return you to production as soon as possible. The emergency response package will endeavor to get an RMGroup engineer on site, if needed, within 12 hours. Engineers are guaranteed to be on hand to answer technical questions and provide priority telephone and reactive response service at short notice. Emergency call outs are based on two different rates and include an annual fee. Single Service Visits Single service visits can be arranged for any type of RMGroup equipment. We also service/maintain equipment supplied by other manufacturers 1

3 Robot Servicing & Maintenance With over 20 years of experience installing, programming and servicing robots, as well as being a member of the ABB AVP (Authorised Value Provider) scheme, RMGroup are the perfect solution to minimise robotic breakdowns with highly skilled robotic engineers and programmers always available to resolve any issues. RMGroup offer a wide range of standard and customised maintenance contracts to suit your needs. 4 Form Fill & Seal Servicing & Maintenance As suppliers of Form Fill & Seal Systems RMGroup are specialists in the installation, maintenance and servicing of all types of automated packaging systems. Service contracts can be arranged for regular maintenance or our engineers can visit your premises when needed. Bagging machines can be completely reconditioned, either on your site or returned to our factory in Newtown to be overhauled in our 50,000 sq ft maintenance facility. Spares Department RMGroup carry a full comprehensive stock of spare parts and consumables for all RMGroup supplied equipment. We also recommend spare parts packages and maintenance kits for all RMGroup packaging and palletising lines supplied. We can provide a service exchange for many ABB robotic units to help keep costs to a minimum. 5 Remote Connectivity for off-site Servicing At RMGroup we realise the importance of connectivity. Hardware fitted inside control panels have allowed our engineers over the last few years to carry out preventative remote access maintenance, fault finding and programme changes from any location at any time; this has saved uncountable hours of downtime for our customers as well as the cost savings achieved by eliminating engineer callout charges, thus enabling issues to be dealt with remotely from RMGroup HQ. Through the use of E-Won routers and software we are able to provide a secure connection between computers and production lines. This allows for secure live feed connectivity to CCTV surveillance, HMI panels of palletising robots, Form Fill Systems and conveying to be displayed and controlled from a web browser. We are able to supply connection to the internet in any environment no matter how remote due to the flexibility of the routers we use which provide secure connections via Hard Wired installations, WI-FI or 3G. Access will be available through Monthly & Yearly contracts with ourselves at RMGroup, Please contact us to discuss the available plans. The aforementioned remote access servicing is available as part of an annual servicing plan. Dedicated RMGroup engineers are available in order to support customers through any problems by fault finding or to assist with required changes to programmes. On-Site Training Upgrades Achieving optimum performance from your equipment requires good working knowledge of the machinery & systems. RM Group offer onsite training for all equipment, from bagging machines to full plant installations with highly experienced engineers. RMGroup also offer a service to upgrade, retrofit and rebuild old machinery from any manufacturer to extend its working life, new RMGroup equipment can also be integrated into your existing line to improve and speed up the whole process. All applicable documentation and literature is included with all training courses. 4

6 RMGroup Product Overview Form Fill & Seal Packaging Machinery RMGroup specialise in Vertical bag filling machines. The larger pack machines are ideal for packaging sand and gravel, powder, animal feed, peat/compost, bark, cat litter, pet food, seed, chemicals, fertiliser, cement, post mix products and more. Packing capabilities range from 500g to 50kg at rates of up to 3600 bags per hour. All of the machines in the Form Fill and Seal range are available in stainless steel for corrosive products such as Grit salt, fertilizer or acidic chemicals. Form Fill & Seal Baling Machines RMGroup offers a comprehensive range of Horizontal and Vertical, semi automatic to fully automatic systems, capable of up to 300 bales per hour, for use with a wide variety of products. Horizontal Baling is used for products that do not lend themselves well to being screw conveyed. RMGroup machines are of modern, robust construction, designed to offer effective packaging solutions for the owner and operator. Robot Palletising At RMGroup we offer new and used systems to suit customer specifications. Robots are the most flexible method of automated product handling, offering speeds of over 2,000 cycles per hour. We understand that it is important to deliver systems to our customers that their packing operators are confident to run. That s why our engineers have developed an innovative programme specifically for ABB robots, making them far more user friendly when switching between various products and pallet stacks. 5

7 Mobile Packaging Systems (also available for hire) LTF800 The fully automated mobile bagging machines epitomize effortless bagging. The system includes Form, fill and seal technology and the latest robot palletising. It is capable of bagging 800 small bags an hour. Its reliability, high throughput and lower running costs prove to be advantageous to our customers. LTM600 Combines manual placement of pre-made bags with ABB robot palletising system. This particular model from our mobile bagging range allows users to switch between bag sizes freely. Manual Bagging Systems RMGroup manual bagging systems are tailored to suit the customer s product, bag size, type and bagging rate.
