1 Refinery & Oil Field Services ROFS/2K10/5/ENQ/11 6 th February, 2015 TENDER ENQUIRY DUE DATE AND TIME UPTO 15:00 HOURS M/s invite sealed tenders from the empanelled transporters for Transportation of Plant & Machinery from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC), Uran, Maharashtra to ONGC, Nawagam, Ahmedabad as per the following terms & conditions. 1.0 Description of Plant & Machinery Sl. No. Description Quantity Dimension Approx. Quantity and no. of loose items mentioned above are tentative and may vary. 2.2 Transportation of the above Plant & Machinery from starting point to destination at the addresses given in page no

2 2. 3 The above Plant & Machinery will be loaded at ONGC, Uran Plant, Uran. Loading of Plant & Machinery inside the Uran Plant with Suitable crane/hydras and requisite manpower will be under bidder s scope. 2.4 Unloading and placement of above Plant & Machinery at ONGC, Nawagam, Ahmedabad will have to be carried out by the bidder. Arrangement of suitable crane of at least 45 MT capacity and requisite manpower will be under bidder s scope. All incidental charges both at loading and unloading points are to be borne by the transporter. 2.5 Necessary co-ordination with all concerned for carrying out the material loading shall be the responsibility of the transporter so that, the loading is carried out smoothly and without undue delay. 2.6 Transportation of machinery shall be carried out in a safe manner and all the materials will have to be properly secured with the vehicles to the satisfaction of Balmer Lawrie s personnel so as to eliminate possibilities of any damage and overturning during transit. 2.7 The transporter vehicles shall meet concerned RTO regulations and drivers shall have valid driving license and the type of vehicle to be engaged at the place of origin to be indicated in the offer. 2.8 No detention charge will be paid at any of the locations. 2.9 The order will be placed on the strict understanding that the transporter has indemnified Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. against any government action on him or his vehicle or his driver while on our duty Our decision will be final in the event of any dispute The transporter must keep fully absolved from all legal responsibilities arising out of any accident, injury, death etc. to his staff / labourers involved in the operation Rates should be valid for acceptance for a period of 60 days from the due date Rates quoted should be firm and no escalation, whatsoever, will be granted No deviation from the tendered condition is acceptable The driver of the vehicles shall keep the following documents under his possession all the time, while carrying out the road transportation job: a) Registration Certificate (RC) book of the Vehicle. b) Valid Fitness Certificate of the Vehicle c) Valid Insurance Policy of the Vehicle d) Driving License of the Driver e) Valid Pollution Control Certificate of the Vehicle f) Any Photo Identify of the Helper/Khalasi accompanying the drive g) Spare wheel In absence of any of the above documents, vehicles will not be allowed inside the ONGC installations at both locations and the reason for delay due to vehicles detention at the respective gates shall be attributable to the transporter No materials, other than those specified in our challan, should be loaded on to the vehicle en-route. Necessary challans will be issued at the time of transportation of materials

3 2.17 All the vehicles should be reported in the morning to enable completion of gate pass and other formalities. Bidder must handover all relevant papers of their vehicles day before the placement and loading of materials. Similarly, bidder must inform our Site In-charge at least one day before the date of arrival of vehicles to the destination address. 3.0 Taxes, Duties and Statutory Charges All taxes, duties and statutory charges shall be borne by you and reimbursed at actuals on production of relevant documents. Service Tax, as applicable, will be paid by Balmer Lawrie. 4.0 Incidental Charges Incidental charges, if any, from the point of loading, unloading and enroute shall be borne by the bidder. Balmer Lawrie's site personnel should not be requested to make any payment at the loading point. 5.0 Payment Terms Payment will be released within one month from the date of submission of bill along with receipted copy of LR after successful completion of work. 6.0 Destination C/o Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited Central Tank Farm Desalter Unit Newagam, Baroda-Ahmedabad N.H. The bidder shall have to do all sorts of coordination and liaisoning, as applicable, to achieve this time target. Rs per day will be levied for delay in completion schedule. However, transit time may be extended at the discretion of Balmer Lawrie in case of accident of vehicle, communal riots or other form of disruptions for which movement of vehicles are restricted/affected, flood, earthquake and other natural calamities/any act of good. In such case bidder has to substantiate his claims with sufficient documents

4 10.0 Placement of Vehicle Placement of vehicles and loading of materials must be completed on 2 working day failing which Rs per day/vehicle will be levied over and above the compensation due to delay in completion schedule as specified in Clause no. 9.0 above 11.0 Tender Submission Offer should include a stamped and signed copy of the Tender Document as a token of acceptance of the terms and conditions herein.
