The Power Station generates upto ~3.6 million tonne of dry fly ash per annum approximately. SPL invites Expression of Interest ( EOI ) from interested parties i.e. Cement Plants / fly ash brick manufacturers / RMC Plant / other users of fly ash, in the prescribed format, for lifting of entire dry fly ash from Power Station silos on as is where is basis for the period of 15 years Interested parties are requested to submit their EOI duly filled in the prescribed format. 2 OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 1. Issuance of Expression of Interest (EOI) to any of the interested parties shall not be construed that the interested party is considered qualified 2. The qualification status shall be examined by Sasan Power Ltd during the process of evaluation and the decision of Sasan Power in this regard shall be final. 3. Sasan Power Ltd reserves the right to extend the date for submission of EOI at its sole discretion and reserves the right to reject any or all or cancel/withdraw the notice for EOI without assigning any reasons whatsoever and in such case no interested party shall have any claim arising out of such action.

6 SALIENT FEATURES The salient points proposed in the Fly ash off-take arrangement (Agreement) are given below: 1. Agreement to off-take of fly ash will be between Sasan Power Limited (SPL) and interested parties for their use of fly ash. 2. The period of Agreement will be 15 years. Based on the request / requirement of the party it may be extended on mutual agreement. 3. After qualifying through the process of Expression of Interest, the qualified parties shall participate in the price discovery process (tendering) run by SPL for off-take of dry fly ash from the Power Station. 4. The Successful bidder selected under price discovery process will enter into an agreement with SPL for off-taking dry fly ash. 5. Successful Bidder has to lift at least 80% of annual contracted quantity. In case fails to lift 80% of agreed/ adjusted quantity in any consecutive three months on cumulative basis, SPL will have right to review the continuance of the Agreement. 6. Successful Bidder upon signing of Agreement shall submit bank guarantee of Rs 2.5 Crore and Security Deposit for Rs 50 Lakh towards guaranteed off take. 7. Fly ash will be issued against advance in the form of DD/ direct credit to SPL bank account. The amount of advance will be equivalent to value of one month estimated quantity and the price applicable. 8. All applicable taxes, duties or levies whichever may be imposed on the off take and transportation of fly ash by any statutory authorities/ Government(s)/ Government agencies during the period of Agreement shall be borne by successful bidder. 9. Successful Bidder has to arrange T&P, labor and transportation to their plant at their own cost in environment friendly manner. x
