2 Suggestions for Performing Railcar Product Transfers and Maintaining DOT Intermodal (IM) Tanks Performing Railcar Product Transfers and Maintaining DOT Intermodal (IM) Tanks has been designed include all of the tasks, decisions, and safety considerations required for personnel working at propane railcar transfer sites and bulk plants maintaining and transporting DOT intermodal tanks. This course in its entirety prepares students for two separate NPGA CETP certification exams: Performing Railcar Product Transfers (Modules 1 7 and Performing Railcar Product Transfer Pre- Certification Review) Maintaining DOT Intermodal (IM) Tanks (Modules 1, 8 10 and Maintaining DOT Intermodal (IM) Tanks Pre-Certification Review) If you are offering the course in its entirety, 1.75 days of classroom time is recommended. Day 1 (8 hours including breaks and lunch): Complete Modules 1 through 7 Day 2 (6 hours including morning break and lunch): Performing Railcar Product Transfer Pre-Certification Review, Complete Modules 8 through 10, Maintaining DOT Intermodal (IM) Tanks Pre-Certification Review, and optional NPGA CETP certification exams. The course may also be offered as two separate courses using the modules noted above for each topic. Performing Railcar Product Transfers (Modules 1 7 and Performing Railcar Product Transfer Pre- Certification Review). Classroom time recommended 1 day. Extra time may be needed for the optional NPGA CETP certification exam. Maintaining DOT Intermodal (IM) Tanks (Modules 1, 8 10 and Maintaining DOT Intermodal (IM) Tanks Pre-Certification Review). Classroom time recommended 4 hours including the optional NPGA CETP certification exam. 2
