3 Pick & Pack Services Improving your cost structure Customize fulfillment solutions Ship your products with your identification only Reduce your delivery shipment cycles No hidden cost on pick and pack solutions Capable to deliver direct to your customer...on Time and On Budget The pick and pack process begins with a computer generated pick ticket that provides instructions to the warehouse, including items to be picked, packaged, staged, and shipped. This includes special handling, labeling, or other customer specific requirements. The pick ticket is generated directly through the state-of-the art warehouse management system which is often linked online to our customer s sales ordering system. Packing is completed in the fulfillment staging area of our professional warehouse. There packing materials, labels, and insertions specified by our customer are used to send the package via our low cost LTL services, truckload, UPS, FedEx, or DHL. Case Study 1 DSI Quality Team Global Supply Chain Company Customer had received product from overseas manufacturer with 2 product codes mixed together in shipment. 4 Case Study 2 DSI Quality Team Innovated Solution Fortune 500 Company A global Fortune 500 company had an issue with ignition coil collecting moisture causing interference with the unit s effectiveness. The company contacted DSI to implement a solution. DSI sourced a unique Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene product and developed a method to modify product for use. Solution: DSI Quality Team applied the FEP to the ignition coil, quality inspected the units and packaged the units for distribution. Case Study 3 Customer had engine blocks in inventory, single packed in crates. Their customer needed the blocks to be packed for the production line in kits of 4.
