3 Lödige LorryLifts The delivery of goods to an upper or lower level often causes severe logistic problems. With the Lödige LorryLift the fully loaded vehicle is elevated or lowered directly to the correct level. LorryLift Giant XXL Lödige LorryLifts are used for example in: LIFT Manufacturing Facilities Lifting the lorry and its load directly to the correct loading or unloading level. Theatres Elevating the vehicle with loaded theatre scenery and equipment to the correct entry or exit level. In the past Lödige have completed projects where loads of up to 75 tons have been lifted over 9 meters high. Four different LorryLift variations are available as standard modules. The Lödige LorryLift provides the ideal solution for speeding up the in-house transport of loads directly to the work place. Conventional transport solutions compared to the Lödige LorryLift use up valuable resources such as: Taking up warehouse floor space for loading and unloading activities, interim storage space required, transport required to and from goods lifts, an interfacing ramp is necessary. The lifts transport lorries vertically between three production levels. 6 Lödige LorryLifts for Theatres Very often scenery transportation within theatres has to take place in very cramped conditions. The Lödige LorryLift is the ideal solution as handling operations are greatly simplified. LorryLift Giant M - Birmingham, UK Old theatres usually have narrow corridors, stairways and low ceilings making scenery transport between the various levels very difficult. In most cases the construction of a ramp between the levels is not desired or possible due to restricted space and/or architectural limitations and restrictions. Lödige LorryLifts meet both, the functionality of the required operation as well as the adaptablility to most buildings and architechtural limitations/requirements. Fragile scenery is unloaded once and brought straight away to the right place, thus reducing the risk of damage. Our solution was to transport lorries from the street level down to the backstage level below with the help of a LorryLift. The lorry lift has made our lives much easier and has transformed our backstage operations. Previously it was a real struggle to get items from street level down to the stage.
