3 2019 FEATURES LIST Live app The planned features for ROADWAY 2019 cover areas of the industry essential to the efficient and costeffective running of a haulage business. The final deadline for press information is 14 working days prior to publication. The final date for advertising copy is 12 working days from publication. Printed inserts should be available at our printer within 10 working days of publication. While every effort will be made to adhere to this forward features programme, if circumstances require us to cancel or alter the scheduling of the listed features at short notice we cannot accept liability. February: Publishes 25 January WINTER TYRES: The right winter tyre properly maintained mean cost-effective operations and safe running. We review the latest types from the manufacturers. ALTERNATIVE FUELS THE ELECTRIC/HYBRID OPTION: ROADWAY assesses the new truck models being introduced. We also ask what they could offer your business, and are batteries now efficient enough? RECOVERY SECTOR: What services are being offered to hauliers across the UK s road network. Advice on foreign recovery options. March: Publishes 22 February ADR SAFETY: We review the rules and regulations and the safety equipment on offer. LOAD SECURITY: A shifting load is the quickest way to an accident. We look at the weighing equipment now on offer. April: Publishes 29 March USED MARKET: With the need for used Euro VI trucks on the rise, we review the state of the market across the country. COMPANY FINANCE: If its an issue of tax compliance or loans we offer advice from a range of finance advisors. TRAINING AND APPRENTICESHIPS: The Trailblazer programme has highlighted what can be done to promote new recruits into the industry. We review the progress of industry-based initiatives to introduce the next generation. May: Publishes 26 April TELEMATICS: Systems are becoming adaptable and providing operators with more services. We find out which are the most cost-effective. CAMERAS: Not only fitted in the cab now, but an important feature around a vehicle to protect VRUs. This article reviews the latest systems on offer. CV SHOW PREVIEW: CV Show 2019 takes place at the NEC from 30 April 2 May. ROADWAY looks at some of the best new products and services on exhibit. June: Publishes 31 May TRAILERS: Tracking systems and telematics are being incorporated into trailers as a means to greater cost-efficiency. ROADWAY looks at this new era for the trailer. FERRIES: Cost-effective passage to the continent is now more important than ever. Routes and prices to and from the UK are the focus of this feature. Each advert should be accompanied by either a colour/mono hard copy proof or as file in Portable Document Format (.pdf) on disk. PC-generated artwork should be in Encapsulated Post Script (.eps) format with all fonts embedded.
