1 2015 CAG CDDW & CASL WM February 27 March 2 David Armstrong Dear Colleagues, Please find enclosed the preliminary program for the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (CAG) Canadian Digestive Diseases Week (CDDW) 2015 and the Canadian Association for the Study of the Liver (CASL) Winter Meeting, taking place Friday February 27 until Monday March 2 in Banff. All of the following program components will be held at the Fairmont Banff Springs: Gastroenterology Residents-in-Training (GRIT) Course (open to invited residents only): Tuesday February 24 to Thursday February 26 Scholars Program (open to invited students only): Wednesday February 25 and Thursday February 26 Research Topics in Gastrointestinal (GI) Disease (open to invited students only): Wednesday February 25 and Thursday February 26 : Friday February 27 through Monday March 2 The program is based on results of the 2014 members needs assessment. Sessions will be accredited (Section 1) by the CAG as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. AMA and EU credits will apply. SMALL GROUPS Given the demand for small, interactive learning opportunities, Breakfast with the Experts and Small Group Sessions are an integral part of the program. ** EARLY REGISTRATION RATE** We urge members to visit the website ( and register by December 31 to receive the early registration rate of $75 (after Dec. 31=$150). Registration is $375 for Affiliate/International Members ($450 after Dec. 31), $25 for Trainee Members ($50 after Dec. 31) and is free to Retired Members. Non-member registration is $600 (early) and $800 (after Dec. 31). Please note that GST applies to all registrations. Don t forget to reserve your seat at Breakfast with the Experts and Small Group Sessions where attendance is limited and pre-registration is required. Finally, we invite you to join us at the Gala for an evening of fun. ACCOMMODATION BOOKING Delegates will arrange their accommodation directly with the Fairmont Banff Springs, which will provide confirmation to the individual. Room reservations are your responsibility; CAG and CASL will not be involved in this process.
