1 Delivery Instructions - Finished goods Leaflet for suppliers This delivery instruction applies generally to all deliveries to the SITECO lighting systems in Traunreut (hereinafter referred to as Siteco) for Finished goods, unless material respect differing mode of delivery (including tech. delivery specifications) were agreed. Deviations of the following points are specified in individual packaging specifications. The delivery specification was developed taking into account all relevant aspects such as loading, unloading and storage, air freight efficiency, product protection and the associated costs. 1. Mode of delivery 1.1. Deliveries on pallets / per truck Possible types of pallet are: G12, barred box (in exchange method) P12, flat euro pallet (in exchange method) Pallets that are not exchanged without prior arrangement will not be accepted on account. Disposable pallets (1200 x 800 mm; 1400 x 800 mm; 1600 x 800 mm) can be used after agreement Special pallets can be used after agreement Max height of each pallet is limited to 1,40 m The pallets are to be packed none mixed: a pallet contains only one material- or drawing number. For smaller delivery quantities on mixed pallets they must be clearly marked externally visible Deliveries by airfreight: The air freight must always be loaded on pallets. The pallet to be used is an industrial pallet (disposable pallet, base 1200 mm x 800 mm, 1400 x 800 mm or 1600 x 800 mm), with the exception of customer-specific pallets. Seite 1/5

2 Maximum height (including pallet): 1.60 m - - when loaded with passenger aircraft or 1.20 m for cargo aircraft. Stretch packed for load stability and moisture protection with a lid punched out of corrugated cardboard. Wood packaging material treated according to ISPM Deliveries by container Containers must always be loaded on pallets. The pallet to be used is an industrial pallet (one-way pallet, base 1200 mm x 800 mm or 1400 x 800 mm) unless there are other important reasons for using other pallets. Maximum height (including pallet) of 2.20 m for high-cube containers up to 2.50 m. Stretch packed for load stability and moisture protection with a lid punched out of corrugated cardboard. In case of a larger dead space between the crates on the pallet or between the crates and the container walls, this space must be secured by using pallets or air cushions! Wood packaging material treated according to ISPM15 2. Specification of data on delivery notes Please specify the exact delivery address (if available incl. building number), so that deliveries to wrong recipients are avoided. The delivery note must be absolutely necessary fixed on the goods or the office present goods receipt upon gets delivery note, otherwise no acceptance of the goods is guaranteed and Siteco will forward the processing costs to the supplier. Mandatory on the delivery is our order and immediately behind the corresponding number of order item for each item on it. Please pay attention to the specification of the correct number of units per delivery item to avoid unnecessary correction processes in our incoming goods. Please give each position our part no. and parts designation. 3. Identification of the product Each packaging unit shall be provided to identify the goods with a material tag or label. This must include at least the following data: description SITECO Part no. Version number Seite 2/5

3 date of production / batch number Siteco number quantity per packaging unit name of supplier Moreover, if further information is required, it will be agreed separately. 4. Packaging 4.1. General To comply with legal requirements with respect regarding take-back and recycling of transport packaging properly, you must proceed according to DIN As packaging materials only the materials listed below are permitted. Siteco is entitled to reject one way packaging that contain materials which are not listed below at the expense of the supplier. For each material, note the following topics: 4.2. Paper / cardboard Paper and cardboard must not contain any harmful materials such as bitumen, wax, oil, wet-strength glue, waterproofing agents or coatings. As a possible closure paper wet adhesive tape should be used. PVC tapes are not allowed! 4.3. Plastic films Shrink film, stretch film, protective film (sections or bags), bubble wrap or foam sheets must be transparent. Only the same material stickers are allowed (no paper labels). Stickers made of other materials shall be placed under the film. Palette stickers can also be attached with special nails. The readability of the information - for example bar codes - shall be ensured Tension bands The closure of the tapes must be made by vibration or hot wedge welding (no metal brackets!) EPS (expanded polystyrene, for example styrofoam) It may be used only white EPS. Discoloration caused by the use of recycled material is permitted. Reinforcing inserts (e.g. wooden slats) in EPS padding parts must be easily manually separable. Label must not be used. Seite 3/5

4 4.6. Wood Wood must be untreated. A purely thermal treatment is permitted. When loading equipment as possible EURO pallets (800 mm x 1200 mm) shall be used. Pallets should be avoided. Iron parts (staples, nails, etc.) must not exceed a thickness of 10 mm Import of wooden packaging (air / sea freight) Wood packaging materials must be treated in accordance with ISPM15 (Regulation of wood packaging material in international trade) 5. Cost Allocation If due not previously matched deviations from above points to emerge-additional costs, Siteco reserves the right to re-invoicing of these costs to the supplier. 6. Booking time slot For partial and full loads of more than 5 LDM we ask you to book a time window for unloading, here we guarantee an unloading within the time window. Standing fees without booking a time slot are not accepted by Siteco Truck/container notification at least 1 day before delivery. Please do not hesitate to contact us. 7. Opening times of goods receiving Please note the following opening times daily (Mon - Fri) 7:00 am. Until 3: 00 pm. Deliveries outside these hours can only be made in exceptional circumstances and in case of timely notification. 8.
