3 1. DEFINITIONS MICT means Mundra International Container Terminal Pvt. Ltd. CFS means Container Freight Station Coastal Vessel shall mean any vessel exclusively employed in trading between any port or place in India to any other port or place in India having a valid coastal license issued by the competent authority. Container means the standard ISO container, suitable for transport and stacking of cargo and must be capable of being handled as a unit and lifted by a crane with a container spreader. FCL means Containers said to contain Full Container Load. Foreign Vessel shall mean any vessel other than a coastal vessel. Hazardous container means a Container containing hazardous goods as classified under IMO. ICD means Inland Container Depot. LCL means Containers said to contain Less than full Container Load (Container having cargo of more than one importer/exporter). Over Dimensional Container means a Container carrying over dimensional cargo beyond the normal size of standard containers and needing special devices like slings, shackles, lifting beam, etc. Damaged Containers and Containers requiring special devices for lifting are also classified as Over Dimensional Container. Per day means per calendar day or part there of. Reefer means any Container for the purpose of the carriage of goods, which require power supply to maintain the desired temperature. Port means the Port of Mundra. Shut Out Container means a container which entered the terminal as export for a vessel as indicated by VCN and is not connected to the vessel for whatsoever reason. Terminal means Mundra International Container Terminal Ltd. Tonne means one metric Tonne of 1,000 kilograms or one cubic meter. Transhipment container means a Container discharged from one vessel, stored in MICT and transported through another vessel. VCN means Vessel Call Number. MICT TARIFF BOOKLET 10 th March

GENERAL 2.1 Containers less than and up to 20 will be reckoned as one TEU for the purpose of tariff. 2.2 Containers other than that of standard size requiring special devices/slings/handling will be charged as per 3.5 below. Such containers will also include damage containers and any other type requiring special devices. 2.3 Additional Charge for reefer container as per 3.8 below as applicable will be charged for reefer containers. 2.4 All invoices are issued as due on presentation. Failure to pay may cause a lien to be placed on the goods handled at the Terminal and the responsible party may be denied further use of the Terminal until all outstanding charges have been paid. 2.5 MICT will collect Waterfront Royalty as per GMB notification No. GMB/T/SoPC/5153 dated August 4th, 2003, and as amended from time to time. 2.6 This tariff booklet should be read in conjunction with the CFS operating procedure. 2.7 This Tariff Booklet supersedes the earlier Tariff Manual as well as all earlier notified Tariff Modifications. 5 3 CHARGES FOR TERMINAL SERVICES 3.1 Stevedoring Charges for Road Container. Loaded Containers Lift On or Lift Off by quay crane including lashing and unlashing services Transport to CY and two lifts in CY Empty Containers Lift On or Lift Off by quay crane including lashing and unlashing services Transport to CY and two lifts in CY Note: - The rate given above includes handling by quay crane, charges for transportation from quay to yard and vice-versa, charges for grounding lifts at CY and for landing or loading the container from or on to the customer s vehicle. 3.2 Stevedoring Charges for Rail Container. Loaded Containers Lift On or Lift Off by quay crane including lashing and unlashing services Transport to rail yard and lift on/from rail wagon Empty Containers Lift On or Lift Off by quay crane including lashing and unlashing services Transport to rail yard and lift on/from rail wagon Note: - The rate given above is for handling by quay crane, charges for transportation from quay to yard and vice-versa and charges for grounding lifts at CY. 6 3.3 Stevedoring Charges for Transhipment Container. Note: - a) A transshipment container sent to CFS, ICD or taken delivery locally shall be charged the local container rate b) A container originally declared as transshipment container, subsequently moved by rail or road will lose it s identity as a transshipment container and shall be treated as a normal import container and prescribed charges as applicable shall be payable. c) A Shut out charge as per 3.9 shall apply if: The vessel nomination is changed after landing of container in the terminal; Or If the vessel nomination is changed from a later vessel to an earlier vessel. 3.4 Charges for Hazardous Container Handling charges as above plus a premium of 50% 3.5 Charges for Over Dimensional Container Handling charges as above plus a premium of 50% 3.6 Charges for handling of Hatch Cover Without landing hatch cover on quay With landing hatch cover on quay MICT TARIFF BOOKLET 10 th March

7 3.7 Charges for Re-Stowing Loaded or Empty Container Within bay Via quay Note: - Handling charges as above plus a premium of 50% on HAZ / OOG Containers 3.8 Charges for Reefer Containers Per day Note: - Services include plugging/unplugging, provision of electricity and monitoring of the temperature. No maintenance will be performed on malfunctioning reefers. 3.9 Charges for a VCN Change Note: - Per Movement a) Above charge shall apply where an export container or a transshipment container or a reexport container is shut out and subsequently delivered out of MICT. b) Where a container is shut out by one vessel and subsequently shipped on another vessel, in addition to the handling by quay crane charge: i. Above charge shall also apply. ii. Free storage shall be given to the Container in accordance from the time the container is first received. If the free storage period is exceeded, store rent shall be calculated after the expiry of the free period up to the time of lift on Charges for Extra Movement / Transportation per Movement The charges will be applicable for shifting of container within the terminal for custom inspections or any other purpose and subsequent loading of containers for delivery. The dwell time charges for such containers shall be recovered at par with the relevant import containers storage tariff. e) Normal import containers subsequently changing the mode to either LCL or ICD containers will enjoy the free period applicable to local FCL containers. f) Total storage period for a shut out container shall be calculated from the day when the container has become shut out till the day of shipment/delivery. Transportation within CFS and Lift Off at CFS Stack. e. Lift On of Full container from CFS Stack. Transportation within CFS and Lift Off at CFS Stack. e. Loading of Cargo into Truck. 4.9 Charge for Import Container Seal Verification / Custom Examined & Delivered from CFS Total Composite Charges 3, , A total composite charge includes Transportation from Terminal Yard to CFS. Lift Off at CFS Stack Yard. Lift On & Placing of Container at Custom Examination area. Seal Breaking / Fixing. Lift On of Container for final Delivery. And for OOG Container, storage will be 2 times of normal charge is applicable Fuel Surcharge (In addition to Total Composite Charge) on Stuffing / De-Stuffing / Custom Examination / Seal Verification Activity Fuel Surcharge GENERAL NOTES a) Container and cargo storage charges are reckoned on per day basis. b) Charges for Container more then 40 will be charge twice of 20 Container. c) Cargo storage charges are reckoned from the date of carting or de-stuffing to the date of stuffing or loading, both days inclusive. d) Any special services like Dunnage / lashing materials or additional equipment for handling will be charged additional. e) All Cheques / DD to be drawn favoring Mundra International Container Terminal Pvt. Ltd. Payable at Gandhidham. f) Prior to Movement of Export Container or Delivery of Import Cargo, Customer must clear all dues payable to MICT. g) Service Tax and other Govt. levies will be applicable at the prevailing rates at the time of billing. h) Any spill clean up charges accruing on account of handling of HAZ cargo, disposal of the HAZ waste to a govt. approved waste handling facility including transportation to such facility shall be borne by the customer ( Shipper / Importer ) i) In order to discourage such malpractice, a dishonored cheque will invite an exemplary penalty of INR 1,000/- j) All Shipping Lines are advised to ensure that empty containers are surveyed prior Gate In for storage. After containers have been moved to storage yard, all requests for survey shall be chargeable as per applicable activity. k) Parties using the Container Freight Station shall ensure that they acquire appropriate insurance cover and MICT shall not be liable for any loss or damage to the goods being transported to/from or stored at the Container Freight Station.
