4 Infra Oman 2018 confirms its renowned high reputation as the major infrastructure exhibition in the Sultanate of Oman A three-day event made of 243 exhibitors, 2 halls for a total gross of 13,400sqm (Both inside & outside) and 7469 visitors. As one of the most promising markets of the region, the Sultanate of Oman hosted from the 8-10 October the leading infrastructure exhibition in the GCC, closing with a big success not only in terms of numbers, but also from the point of view of quality and standards achievements. After reviewing on-site interviews, post-show questionnaires, media reports and key-persons remarks, from all perspectives, the feedback was that the Infra Oman 2018 was a success and is indeed the mandatory platform for doing business in the Sultanate of Oman. From the exhibitors point of view, an important result can be drawn from the 2018 edition. A highquality attendance kept the halls busy during the three days. The survey shows that 81% of the companies regarded Infra Oman visitors as good-quality visitors. Among them, 57% classified the audience quality from very good to excellent. This tells a lot about the opportunities that the show offers in terms of business relations and brand exposure, and about the outstanding increase of the show quality standards. The majority of the visitors included Ministry Officials, CEOs and senior managers, agents and distributors; Manufactures and professional buyers were well represented as well. Infra Oman has proved to be an ideal starting point not only for the local companies, but also for foreign entities that are more determined to be part of this growing market. Also co-located with the Infra Oman 2018 was the 3rd GCC Supply Chain & Logistics Exhibition & Conference. The event witnessed over 90 exhibitors from the sector and leading international and local speakers talking about the current and future plans to develop and enhance the sector further. Owing to its strategic location, diverse economy and infrastructural support, the Sultanate of Oman and mainly the GCC continues to be one of the most lucrative and beneficial trading and logistics hubs in the world. A well-planned and developed infrastructure in the form of ports, shipping, aviation, warehousing and free-zones has played a key role in boosting the region s supply chain and logistics sector. Owing to its strategic location, diverse economy and infrastructural support, the Sultanate of Oman and mainly the GCC continues to be one of the most lucrative and beneficial trading and logistics hubs in the world. A well-planned and developed infrastructure in the form of ports, shipping, aviation, warehousing and free-zones has played a key role in boosting the region s supply chain and logistics sector. The 3rd edition of the GCCSCL witnessed over 90 companies and 6000 visitors. GCCSCL will be held from the 7-9 October 2019 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre showcasing logistics services, shipping, maritime services and investment opportunities. GCCSCL will be co-located with the 9th Infra Oman Oman s International Exhibition for Infrastructure & Industrial Projects and the Electro Oman - Electricity, Energy & Lighting exhibition which is dedicated solely to energy and clearly partitioned to cover all aspects of the sector.
