3 P a g e 3 AA-3.0 v2 1500w rms series The AA-3.0 v2 Series is our newest line up for subwoofers and all built in house. The AA-3.0 v2 was designed for 1500 rms per driver. The lead wires are formed into the spider layers which enhances durability and eliminates lead slap/breakage problems. The frame is cast aluminum with a sandblasted, powder coat finish. A large 3 Copper coil in the motor reduces energy storage from inductance, with the side benefit of lowering distortion for "faster" response. Large 199 mm triple-stacked, high-energy Y35 ferrite handle the heavy lifting and bring QTS down to a level where the subwoofers can be used in small vented or sealed enclosures. The 6.5 midrange also features a single roll surround that eliminates unwanted resonances, acoustical artifacts and dampens mechanical vibrations. The tweeter and midrange have been specifically engineered with complex FEA analysis that perfectly optimizes the motor structures. Engineering a great tweeter and midrange is not enough to guarantee excellent sound quality so we added a touch of SQ Dust. The overall result is a smooth, linear musical output with excellent spectral clarity without delivering overly bright or fatiguing high frequencies commonly found in most car audio component systems.
