Cooking set IOM/Pipeline Silver 848 pcs Summary of Distribution - Where was the distribution held and how was it organised? -What and how were beneficiaries informed? - How was equal access ensured for men, women, girls and boys? - How was order maintained during the distribution? Distribution was done in Koradar at an open space which is used for food distributions. The beneficiaries were queuing in the shade where registration took place. After verification and thumb printing on the distribution list the beneficiaries were issued with a token for their family size which they used to get their NFIs. They then proceeded to distribution area where they were served with pre-arranged NFIs according to family size. It was all peaceful and no issues with crowd control or gender. What actors were involved in the decision-making regarding the distribution process? -Explain what role the following people had in the process: local authorities, partners, humanitarian officers, volunteers, beneficiaries, etc. The World Vision staff held a pre-distribution meeting with the stakeholders, Camp manager, and local chiefs of the IDPs two days before the distributions informing them about the distributions and their roles during the distribution. The camp manager and the chiefs were tasked to inform the beneficiaries. Changes from assessment recommendations -If there were any changes to the original plan, please explain what changes occurred and why they were necessary. We had to cancel an order of 40.3 bales that was supposed to be delivered from the log-cluster because the beneficiaries that we intended to give the blankets, had received some blankets from DRC, during their targeted distribution in Koradar.

3 Targeting criteria -Who finally received and why? Did the group to be targeted change in any way between the initial assessment and those who received on distribution day? All IDPs and Host community in Koradar, IDPs who were on the distribution list with World vision token received their entitlements, except the beneficiaries who had received blankets from DRC were not considered. Challenges and lessons learned -Did you face any major challenges, and/or learn any useful lessons? -The cost of hiring transport from Paloich to Koradar ferrying the NFIs is very high 5000 ssp per trip though the distance is short. - Off-loading and loading of NFIs at the airport is very high. The loaders charges 2500 ssp for a rotation. -There are no pre-positioned NFI stocks in Melut by the log-cluster, this makes it hard when we have an emergency that needs our response, currently we have to wait for stock to come from Bor or Juba Recommended next steps -Should any further action be taken in the area by the Shelter and NFI Cluster, or other actors? -There is need for IOM to go and do biometric registration in Koradar that will help in getting rid of undeserving beneficiaries. - Verification of the new arrivals so that they are assisted by NFIs, Anecdotes, Stories, Photos -Please share any interesting or illustrative stories of people s experiences, responses, and needs; and photos World Vision employee verifying the beneficiary tokens before they receive their NFIs
