2 // 2 // Bank of Baroda Bihar Regional Office 4 th floor, Anand Vihar West Boring /canal Road Patna NOTICE INVITING TENDER : The Deputy General Manager Bank of Baroda, Bihar Regional Office, 4 th floor, Anand Vihar, West Boring Canal Road, Patna , invites sealed Tenders for ELECTRICAL AUDIT at the branches and offices of Bihar state, from the authorized Auditors who fulfill the following mandatory conditions/requirements : - Must have an established office at Patna. At the center, the Firm must have either a sub-office or an authorized permanently stationed Representative. (Documentary proof of the same must be submitted) - The firm must be atleast -5- years old in the same field of business. - Must have valid Sales Tax no. - Must have PAN no. - Must have Service Tax no. - PF Registration if applicable - ESI Registration - - do - Must have filed Income Tax Returns for last -3- years. - The firm must have a minimum turnover of Rs.5/-lac per year for the last -3- years. - Must have necessary certificate/authority/license for ELECTRICAL AUDITOR from BEE. N.B. : The relative documentary proof in respect of above conditions/requirements must accompany the Tender without which the Tender will be summarily rejected. Page 2 of 9

3 // 3 // Scope of Work: The work involves visiting the branches in area of the Region to carry out Electrical Audit as per the Audit Performa given in the Tender Format. A copy of the report duly signed by the licensed Electrical Auditor/ Engineer on behalf of the firm is to be submitted to respective Branch, Regional Office and Zonal Office. Electrical Audit of all the branches/offices must be completed within Twelve months from the date of awarding the contract. Interested vendors may either collect the Tender Forms from the office of the Chief Manager (Security & Maintenance), Bank of Baroda, Regional Offive,4 th floor, Anand vihar, West Boring canal Road, Patna (Bihar) against a payment of Rs.100/- to be remitted through DD/Banker s Cheque in favour of Bank of Baroda, payable at Patna OR download the same from Bank s website/ and submit a DD / Banker Cheque of Rs. 100/- in favour of Bank of Baroda, payable at Patna along with Technical Bid towards tender cost. Vendors may submit the tenders only in the desired format, in two envelopes as explained in the tender document, so as to reach this office by hrs. on Submission of tenders in any other format will not be entertained & will be summarily rejected. Note: 1. The earnest money deposit of all the unsuccessful bidders will be returned within a period of -30- days from the date of opening of the received tenders. However, in case of the lowest/successful bidder backing out from the terms and conditions mentioned in his tender or refuses to honour his tender, the earnest money deposit will be forfeited. 2. Bank reserves the right to cancel one or all tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever. Page 3 of 9

4 //4// The envelope of Technical Bid shall be superscribed as TECHNICAL BID FOR ELECTRICAL AUDIT OF BRANCHES/OFFICES and shall contain the following. 1. Earnest money amount through DD/Banker s Cheque for Rs. 10,000/- in favour of Bank of Baroda, payable at Patna. 2. Tender fee amount of Rs. 100/- through DD/Banker s cheque in favour of Bank of Baroda, payable at Patna (to be remitted only by vendors who download the Tender Document from Bank s website). 3. Information as per the performa MANDATORY TECHNICAL. REQUIREMENT along with attested copies of the required documents from appropriate Attesting Authority. 4. Information as per the Performa GENERAL TECHNICL INFORMATION. The envelope containing Financial Bid shall be superscribed as FINANCIAL BID FOR ELECTRICAL AUDIT OF BRANCHES/OFFICES and shall contain the following. 1. 7 // 7 // FINANCIAL BID GENERAL CONDITIONS: 1. The rates quoted for carrying out Electrical Audit must be inclusive of all the charges i.e. Transportation, Engineer s Fee, TA/DA and any other expenses whatsoever. However, Service Tax if charged must be specifically mentioned. 2. No conditional discount offered in the Financial Bid shall be considered. The Tender with any conditional discount will be summarily rejected. 3 The successful bidder shall have to deposit a sum of Rs.20,000/- as Security Deposit, which in the event of not completing the Electrical Audit in the given time period, shall be forfeited. 4 The rates quoted shall be binding for twelve months from the date of awarding of the contract and no increase whatsoever will be considered. In the event of any breach of contract, the Security Amount will be forfeited. 5 Payment shall be made by the respective Branch/Office, within -10- days of the satisfactory completion of Electrical Audit and submission of a copy each of Audit Certificate and duly filled/signed Audit Performa as per Tender, to the Branch, Regional Offices and Zonal Office. 6. TDS Deduction will be as per rules. 7.
