2 TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Bid Requirements: All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked Two (2) - New Current Insert Hopper Sand/Salt Spreaders. Quotations must be delivered/mailed to: 1123 North Shore Road Algonquin Highlands, Ontario K0M 1J1 Attention: Mike Thomas CRS-I Operations Manager 2. Bid Closing: Bids must be received no later than 11:00 a.m. local time on Friday March 31, Right to Accept or Reject Bids: The reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. The lowest or any bid shall not necessarily be accepted. Bid prices shall be valid for acceptance for sixty (60) days following the closing date. 4. Delivery Location: The units shall be installed on our municipally owned prescribed vehicles at a dealer location closest to the office located at 1123 North Shore Road. 5. Payment Terms: Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of delivery of the equipment and or an acceptable invoice, whichever is later and subject to the equipment performing to the satisfaction of the Township. Should the equipment not be equipped as specified or if it fails to perform to the satisfaction of the Township the successful bidder shall have thirty (30) days to remedy the deficiency. If after thirty (30) days the equipment is found to still be in an unacceptable condition the Township reserves the right to return the equipment and cancel this agreement at no cost to the Township. 6. Blank Authorization and Execution Form: The Specification sheet as well as the Bid Summary sheet shall be completed and returned with your bid. The bidder has the option to submit more than one quote if they stock multiple brands. A separate Specification sheet and Execution Form must be submitted for each brand. 3 GENERAL: SPECIFICATION AND CONFIRMATION TWO (2) NEW CURRENT INSERT HOPPER SAND/SALT SPREADERS This specification covers Two (2) New Current Insert Hopper Sand/Salt Spreaders intended for use in municipal road maintenance, supervision and patrol operations. Only the major details of the unit are listed. It is the intent of the following specifications to describe a 2.0 yd 3 self-contained hopper spreader designed for ice and snow control. The complete assembly shall mount easily on a 1-ton dump body (Del 9 4 aluminum Job Boss). It is the supplier s responsibility to deliver fully equipped units with compatible components to provide dependable efficient service. Where minimums are given the unit must meet or exceed the capacity, size or performance specified.
