2 2.Non asbestos Fire Blanket Non asbestos: The material of the blanket shall be completely free from any form of Asbestos and its derivatives. It should be made of woven silica fabric or GI fabric. Skin irritation should be nil. Temperature: The material of blanket shall be such that it should sustain the temperature up to 950 degree Celsius and more with out burning. The vendor shall provide the performance certificate of the blanket with respect to the temperature along with supply. Weight: The blanket shall be light weight. Weight should not be more than 1300 gm/m2. Size of blanket: The size of the blanket shall be in range of (5feet X 6feet to 6 feet X 6feet) large. Edges of blanket: these should be duly stitched with Aramid / Kevler threads. Eye lets: The Blanket shall have at least 03 brass eyelets at every side and have 03 nos of good quality anti fire treated leather loops on all the 04 sides for tying with any object. Electrical: Blanket should be non conductive of electricity. Sample: Sample of Piece of blanket shall be sent along with offer. 3 3.Specifications for safety torch 1. Safety torch should be of 02 cell (Alkaline or carbon zinc) 2. Bulb/Lamp Life should be at least of 15 Hours. 3. Light Output at least 10,000 Beam Candlepower 4. Weight of torch (Without batteries) should not increase 0.15 kg. 5. Torch should be suitable for use in hazardous atmospheres. 6. The product should have UL approval. 7. The product should be waterproof 8. The product should have Ring Hanger 9. The product should have switch for smooth On-Off mechanism. 10. BASIC GUIDELINES FOR TENDERER: BID MUST BE SUBMITTED IN TWO BID SYSTEM. 1. Offer should be submitted in three-sealed envelope namely a) Technical bid, b) Price bid and c) EMD. Each envelope should bear the Tender No., Closing date, Opening date, Job Title and Title of envelope in bold letters. 2. Terms of delivery : THE MATERIAL SHALL BE DELIVERED AT GAIL, HAZIRA, ON FREIGHT PAID DOOR DELIVERY BASIS. Consignee Address : SR.
