3 GFI Inspection service introduce The Initial Production Inspection (abbreviated to IPI) starts with a thorough assessment of raw materials and components that will be used during production for your order. IPI helps you to achieve two important goals: to verify your specified requirements are implemented into your product, and to prevent any potential flaws in the production resources, materials, schedules and management as early as possible. 4 An IPI covers below sections: Raw materials and components Production lines & capability Semi-finished products Some finished products Facilities & equipment Environment Production Monitoring (abbreviated to PM) is to assign inspector on behalf of you to stay at the factory onsite during the production cycles ensure production, materials, quality, schedules are at the level you and your manufacturer initially agreed upon. For challenging or sensitive orders, to have an inspector monitor your production and report daily to identify and fix problems in time is an advisable option. Page 4

Generally, When 20% -40% of goods have been completed, our inspector starts to examine the quality of semi-finished and finished goods against your specifications, evaluate process, capacity, delivery, and report to you. 6 A DPI covers below sections: Production condition during manufacturing Production evaluation and timeline verification Overall assessment and recommendations Random sampling inspection of semi-finished and finished product. Final Random Inspection (abbreviated to FRI) also called Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) is a product evaluation at the end stage of production. Normally FRI requires the production to be 100% completed and at least 80% of goods to be packed. The checked samples are randomly selected according to AQL standard or 100% selected according to your request. When performing FRI, industrial standardized processes and method are to be applied to comprehensively check and test your product, ensuring it meets agreed upon specifications. Besides, we own over one thousand checklists for different products that provide the detailed criteria identifying products defects. Page 6

7 A FRI covers below sections: Marking & Labeling Product Specification Packing Workmanship & Construction On-Site Tests Client Special Requirement Quantity Container Loading Supervision (abbreviated to CLS), Sometimes is called "container loading check", is the final step in the manufacturing process and performed in the manufacturer's warehouse or the forwarder's premises. During a CLS, inspector will monitor the entire process to identify any issues during loading. A CLS helps you to make sure that the final details of your product are correct and actual ordered quantity are securely loaded into your container before settling final payment. Page 7

8 A CLS covers below sections: Record loading conditions including weather, arrival time of container, container No., truck No. Containercheck to assess physical damage, moisture, perforation,peculiar smell Quantity of goods and condition of outer packaging Conduct a random quality spot-check to the goods Monitor the loading process to minimize breakage and maximize space utilization Seal container and record seal No. Factory Audit (abbreviated to FA), is an onsite factory audit on behalf of you at the manufacturer s premises, same as FE, before you places an order to a new manufacturer. The goal of a FA is same as FE in nature avoiding involving in a bind working with the wrong factory. Page 8

9 Generally a FA is supposed to be completed within two days (depending on the factory s status and your special needs). A FA is more comprehensive than IFE and focuses on more details of factory s quality assurance system. Same to IFE, during Factory Audit, our auditor will record and take pictures of every key aspect for your reference to make you have actual feeling and sense about the factory before you sign the contract.
